People ought to understand pricing.

If a neighborhood has 100 houses and only 2 houses are for sale, the price is set by these 2 houses for the whole neighborhood.

The price of crude oil is set for the day by the last barrell sold at 4pm EST.

The price of 10 year UST is set by the amount available traded freely, not by federal reserve buying and holding.

Prices are set at the margin, meaning prices are set by active byers and sellers buying and selling the available quantity of goods/securities for trade at the end of the trading period (day/month/year)

Let me reiterate, Operation is one thing, Ownership is another.

Factories will keep running, nothing will change. Old owners go bankrupt, new owners buy the operation at cents on a dollar.

Life goes on normal, ownership changes.
