People who get offended by #CancelGodotEngine say that it's done in bad faith, vengeance, or say that I'm biased, angry, arrogant, corrupt, making up conspiracy theories, or even suggest that I need professional help! Oh, and a cultist, sure! Did I miss anything, #GodotEngine? 🤔
Surprise! All people who say those things are Godot cult followers: users, developers, designers, artists, donators, and even people who haven't tried Godot yet, but simply know about it and follow its development and would like to use it in the future.
However, if you're not a Godot follower and you share the same accusations towards me as done by Godot followers, please let me know! I'm interested to know your perspective, I'd like to help people, I want to deliver my message in such a way that it's understood by most people.
I try to refrain of calling Godot followers biased, because I know exactly how they think. I've been there, done that! I will only call you a cultist when you act like one (especially when you choose to spread slander), so you have an opportunity to look at your own behavior.
My message to all who share the #CancelGodotEngine movement: it doesn't really matter if you provide concrete facts or not. Godot followers will simply ignore or reject facts. Nonetheless, it's important to raise awareness of this issue to all people that have doubts about Godot.
I really recommend people to check out Dr. Steven Hassan's work on mind control. He's a cult expert. Check out topics such as undue influence, BITE model: freedomofmind.com
I'm not against Godot. I used to promote it in the past, but now I honestly think that it shouldn't exist at its current state. The cult mentality in #GodotEngine must be deprogrammed, otherwise it must be #CancelGodotEngine. And not using Godot is just my personal decision.

Juan's hypocrisy in one picture, aka @reduzio! He publicly says that he encourages public discussions. But privately, he will tell you that expressing disagreement in private is far more productive and useful!
I totally realize that everybody in Godot community simply adore Juan, but he has undue influence over you, so let me explain this. Feel free to read this before continuing:
Disagreements are at the heart of every fruitful discussion. If you agree, that's fine. If you disagree, that's also fine, because disagreement challenges different viewpoints that lead to actual consensus. You can read this article which explains this:
Godot is #OpenSource, but it doesn't mean that the mentality of Godot is open. They use their corporate IT consulting processes to drive Godot's development. It's not community-driven. They see volunteers as a service (VaaS) to companies.
Godot founders, Juan and Ariel, created a company called Codenix, a game development and technology consulting company. Godot as an in-house engine used to be developed and licensed to various companies up until 2014. web.archive.org/web/2014062509…
Juan, aka @reduzio, the lead developer of #GodotEngine, tells that Ukraine has a will to be annexed to Russia. This is a completely ridiculous and idiotic statement! Ukrainians do not want to be annexed to Russia! Learn to spell "Ukraine" first! #StandWithUkraine
Juan is from Argentina, no wonder why he said that he doesn't see me representing Ukrainians in Godot! Juan would rather want Russia to annex Ukraine to prevent "disheartening" feelings. We fight for our freedom. And I challenge Godot's toxic leadership!
And this happens at the time when Godot's toxic leadership tolerates abusive and offensive conduct of a Russian member in Godot... This is unacceptable!
I used to trust Juan, aka @reduzio. Never again. This manipulator cannot be trusted. I'm talking about this as someone who has spent years contributing to @GodotEngine.
Whatever you decide to do with Godot, please, do not give money to them.
If you're not aware of manipulation techniques, you'll instantly believe Juan, since he is very skillful in gaslighting. So skillful to the point that what you see on the fragment above must be broken down into smaller pieces and be explained in detail.
I am an open and honest person. But in a community-driven project, where Godot explicitly mentions that "community-driven" implies "open discussion", Juan wants to feel me guilty for being an open person, which is ridiculous.
I posted at #GameDev subreddit describing my experience in Godot community. As expected, moderators immediately removed it. I presented it as a postmortem experience, and I have followed the rules, but they permanently banned me from /r/gamedev.
Before removal, someone said that my feedback is unhelpful. I replied that I cannot make it factual, otherwise my post may be deleted, just like it happened with my previous post that moderators deleted two month ago:
If you scroll down, you'll read a testimony of someone who actually agreed to what I've described (Godot is a cult). Usually, these kind of comments also get heavily downvoted on Reddit, and this is a consistent pattern I've noticed two months ago as well:
