Lets L๐K at the tokenomics & catalysts of @GMX_IO.
$GMX is low float & generates #RealYield w/fees paid to stakers in $ETH.
Max supply is 13.25M $GMX
Current inflation occurs mostly from:
๐ซ250k $GMX distributed linearly to team over 2yrs
๐ซ750k $esGMX left in 2022
๐๐งต
Its important to recognize the supply of $GMX is very low. There is a total circulation of:
7,750,104 $GMX & 2,187,232 $esGMX = 9,937,336
This means, only 3.3M $GMX are left to POTENTIALLY enter circulation (24.9%). I say potentially bc most (only 37k) $esGMX is not vested.
๐
The $esGMX emissions schedule was revised to permit dynamic APR to $GLP w/a target APR of 35% for June 2022 & 25% starting August 2022.
Only 750k $esGMX remain for distribution: 400k to $GMX & 300k to $GLP (#Arbi & $AVAX).
Notably, $esGMX โฌ๏ธ sharply in Sept 2022 for $GMX.
๐
A total of 86% of the $GMX supply is currently staked & earning #RealYield on @GMX_IO.
A look at @nansen_ai shows that most $GMX hodlers have owned $GMX for >90 days (low turnover).
Even examining long term token holder balances, a clear trend to hodling is noted.
๐
Hodling of $GMX is encouraged by the concept of Multiplier Points. The longer you are staked, the more MPs you earn at 100% APR. MP's โฌ๏ธ the amount of protocol fees ๐ฐ that stakers earn in $ETH.
In the future, MP APR may โฌ๏ธ...as such, stakers are incentivized to hodl.
๐
The amount of $GMX is dwindling on DEXs. Only 393k liquidity exists on @uniswap. Outflow has โฌ๏ธ in recent weeks as long term holders like @CryptoHayes continue to add to large investments in @GMX_IO. @nansen_ai also notes an โฌ๏ธ in the amount of smart money holdings of $GMX.
๐
I believe that $GMX has 4 near term catalysts that are bullish for continued accumulation & appreciation:
1โฃ Transition to synthetics in 2 weeks - this means you can trade equities, commodities, FOREX & crypto (great thread on this from @cryp_growth:
2โฃ @UmamiFinance's 20% APR $USDC vault launches soon ontop of $GLP to โฌ๏ธ TVL for greater OI & support of a planned 50x leverage increase
3โฃ X4 is expected to launch in 2-3months
4โฃ Expected โฌ๏ธ $ETH-maxi volume from @dYdX betrayal
๐
TLDR: I am ๐ on @GMX_IO because The House usually wins. Owning a piece of the $GMX platform is like ownership in a casino.
Low fees & fast txns on #Arbitrum will continue to help grow swap volume, MEV revenue & OI generated fees for $GMX/ $GLP. ๐ค๐ซ
Disclaimer: I am a long term staker of $GMX. I believe that @GMX_IO will outperform in the near & long term.
As always, DYOR & dont trust an anon. Opinions are my own & this is NFA. I do have a referral link & I do not receive compensation in any form for my research or posts.๐

Someone asked me today what I look for in a ๐ฑseed project & how much is too little/too much to invest...it made me realize there just isnt enough info out there for the avg degen to consider if you want to angel/seed invest.
My take might not be popular: but its honest ๐คทโโ๏ธ
๐งต๐
Rule #1: Try NOT do seeds/angel investments.
Why? Well, the honest trust is that $ETH will likely 3-5x ROI in the next 2yr by simply hodling
OR, u can give ๐ฐ to a start-up that wont show ROI for >2 years + risks exploits, irrelevance, forking/copy-cats & lack of a value moat.
๐
@tbr90 touched on this back in Jan when he noted it is often better to be the 2nd ๐ญ.
I have used the metaphor of the 2nd mouse in relation to seed investments several times since. The ref relates to a clip in Catch me if You Can w/Christopher Walken:

On request from @ani578 & @VirtualCD_CTEn,
here are some indicators I've documented w/@irncrypt to monitor for oversold vs overbought conditions.
As always, this is NFA, all indicators should be considered in context of broader macro/market conditions.
๐งต๐
1) @GCRClassic was the first big CT account to note : Volume traded > market cap is suggestive of a potential top as this is often indicative of high turn over in the circulating supply. @Asymmetry_Fi also had a good commentary on this recently as well and is worth a follow.
๐
2) Clean wallet funding is bullish for whatever token they're buying in context of fund accumulation vs P&D buying. I monitor for clean wallet accumulation from @ElBarto_Crypto amazing free dash, Block 119, block119.io/dashboard

Is @Ninjascalp's Binance Cartel real?
TLDR: YES
Let's take a look.
๐งต๐
I used @DeBankDeFi Time Machine to look at the @binance hot wallet, 0x28c6c06298d514db089934071355e5743bf21d60 on 3/12/23...the day before @cz_binance announced his $1b liquidity purchase.
On this day, the hot wallet held $157m $BUSD.
๐
On 3/13/23, @cz_binance announced a plan to swap the Binance Recovery Foundation wallet funds into crypto.

Everyone is talking about Mt Gox & Shanghai...but no one is talking about one of the OTHER biggest stories of April 2023: @amazon's NFT marketplace GALLERY
Let's dive in bc it's something worth watching ๐
๐งต๐
Reported 1st by @michael_bodley, @amazon will be launching a NFT marketplace on/around April 24th.
The (nft) GALLERY reportedly will:
โ Feature famous web3 nfts
โ Permit sale/resale of NFT gift cards + subscriptions
โ Host minted content tied to real world tokenized assets

Wen researching tokens & fee revenue, you REALLY need to pay attention to sources.
Just bc someone claims to have data supporting their conclusions...trust but verify.
๐งต๐
The most easily accessible source of fee revenue is @tokenterminal. This is unfortunate because they tend to have institutional subscriptions & funds+researchers who ACTUALLY believe their data wo questioning it. ๐๏ธRemember: easy != accurate
๐
Case in point: there has recently been a CT discussion regarding @QuickswapDEX vs @traderjoe_xyz revenues.
Both are gud projects from @0xPolygon & @avalancheavax respectively. However, TT does NOT represent a comparison of their fee revenue accurately.
