Victory in war requires taking territory. On that basis Russia is winning the Russo-Ukrainian War, and nothing substantive is being done about it. RF forces have learned from their mistakes, while Ukr forces are forgetting how they won Kyiv.
The traditional shock tactics of Ukrainian armed forces won't work against a better armed and equipped RF army, no matter how bad their morale or training, unless, as at the battle of Kyiv, they can disrupt and disorganize and pin down enemy units and their logistics.
The last 6 weeks of attrition warfare prove that the Ukraine will lost this war if High Command does not wake up and radically change their strategy and tactics.
Continually blaming the problem solely on a lack of equipment sent from the West is a very dangerous and deleterious posture which will eventually guarantee failure by misusing limited forces and abusing the good will of allies.
What is needed ASAP are some serious reforms: 1) Remove all soviet style commanders 2) Replace with Nato/USA trained officers 3) Reorganize battalion structure to NATO forms 4) Reduce forces to minimum on static fronts 5) Concentrate best men and equipment into one battle group
And then slice through the Russian Front at the most strategic point to cause the total collapse of the RF war effort.
And it certainly would have helped putting all the foreign fighters in units under their own commands and not striping them of their equipment or whittling them down in fire-brigade actions, thus alienating the greater part of them.
While it it insane to believe the propaganda of your enemy, it is no less dangerous to believe your own propaganda, because Wars are only won with realism and realism requires that you honestly admit what is going wrong and take radical measures to fix it ASAP.
#Ukrainians need to recognize that you cannot beat Russian Federation forces with #Soviet era tactics and #Russian style corruption. To eschew the expertise, experience and training of nations who have the best militaries in the world would be disastrous.
Our Intel indicates that those who want reform need to turn to @ZelenskyyUa and find some way to get direct access to him. We especially recommend forming foreign volunteer units with foreign commanders, separate from low & mid-level Ukr command structure.
What services do we offer from our Commandery at Kyiv? 1) Coordinate activity of our volunteers in Ukraine 2) Receive equipment and supply requests from Ukrainian Military Units 3) Recruit volunteers from our Order and to our Order to serve with our Order in Ukraine, e. g.
