#Ukraine: Russian media showed videos of equipment "captured from the Ukrainian army in Lysychansk pocket".
However not everything is that simple: some vehicles have nothing to with Lysychansk and all shown were captured in #Luhansk Oblast over past months.
The first tank, a Ukrainian T-72AV was captured in the vicinity of Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk Oblast recently.

The second tank, a Ukrainian T-64BV, has no matches with tanks captured before, so we believe it is new.
The third, a Ukrainian T-64BV was captured back in April in Popasna, but was changed in it appearance to make ID harder.
The fourth, another Ukrainian T-64BV was captured in Popasna three months ago.
And the final - the fifth T-64BV tank which doesn't look like anything documented before, so we count this is as a new loss.
Note that it seems the vehicles were repainted a little in order to paint over Russian tactical signs (Z,V,O) and names of units who captured the vehicle; these were usually drawn on at the point of capture.
In videos shared we also counted at least 6 BMP-1, 3 BMP-2 and BRM-1K infantry fighting vehicles which belonged to the Ukrainian army. Very little of them could be seen to identify if they were seen previously, but as in the case of the tanks, all were captured in Luhansk Oblast.
A Ukrainian BTR-80 APC and two BRDM-2L1 scout cars were also captured by the Russian forces - one of them we covered few days ago.
A previously unseen captured Ukrainian 2S1 Gvozdika 122mm self-propelled howitzer and 2A36 Giatsint-B towed gun were also shown.
A Ukrainian armored KrAZ cargo truck, AT105A Saxon and two Varta armored infantry mobility vehicles were also captured by the Russian forces. One of Vartas has a V tactical sign, however there is no matching previously captured examples.
A Ukrainian KrAZ Cougar, BM-21 Grad launcher and three trucks including one fuel truck are shown.
And at least the Cougar was already previously displayed in Luhansk two months ago (pic 4).
Previously unseen Ukrainian MT-LB APC, PMP floating bridge truck and TMM-3M1 bridge layer were also captured by the Russian forces.
They also show a Ukrainian 9A33B Osa air defense system, but it was previously captured in Luhansk Oblast more than 3 months ago.
To sum up, there was quite significant losses of the Ukrainian army in Lysychansk by all means, however in the usual manner the Russian side decided to exaggerate them by bringing months-old trophies, giving us a hell of a task, but not an impossible one😎
Let us know in case we missed something and there are more vehicles which were previously recorded!

After spending a whole day on this we managed to establish the most likely path of these Japanese mortar bombs to Ukraine: as we said initially, they were in fact provided by a third country - in this case it was the United States of America.
Japan is known for its strict lethal weapons export policy - but it was not always so.
In 1952 Japan was again allowed to manufacture weapons after WW2 and in the same year the US ordered a huge batch of 265,000 60mm mortar bombs from the Takakura Plant (Daido Steel). ImageImage
These mortars bombs were ordered for the US and allied forces deployed in Korea and it seems after the end of the conflict at least a part of them were brought back to America.

#Ukraine: We continue to discover more and more strange weapons being supplied to Ukraine: the Territorial Defense Forces of Zaporizhzhia shared photos of previously unseen shells, which we IDed as J-M49A2 60mm mortar bombs with J-M52A2 fuzes - both manufactured by Japan 🇯🇵! ImageImage
We were not the first who noticed them but for some reason these were reported to be Taiwanese mortar bombs. This was already denied by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China - and we completely agree with this.
As we believe, these mortar bombs were manufactured by the Japanese company Daikin Industries (previously known as Osaka Kinzoku Kogyosho) - they are known to manufacture various projectiles for the Japan Self-Defense Forces.

#Ukraine: Ukrainian troops currently deployed on the front line received a new batch of rare French HDP-2A2 anti-tank landmines.
These mines are triggered via magnetic influence sensors and then destroy a vehicle with a explosively formed projectile.

(h/t @kms_d4k)
Here they (white items) can be seen along with previously recorded German DM22 off-route mines and DM31 AT landmines.
Here is the result of the HDP2A2 being deployed- according to the source, this is what left of a Russian tank after it was blown up on a mine and then finished off with an AT launcher.

#Russia: This morning two Russian cities were woken by explosions - the Ukrainian army fired on targets in #Belgorod and #Kursk, however neither were successfully hit according to preliminary information.
In the case of Belgorod the UAF used at least one Tochka-U tactical missile with either HE or cluster warhead (the Russian Ministry of Defense says three of them with cluster warheads were launched, but all were shot down).
As the governor of Belgorod Oblast says one of the Tochka-U was intercepted by Russian air defense systems but the wreckage of the missile fell on a civilian building killing 4 and injuring 4 more.

#Ukraine: In this thread we will cover the losses of the Ukrainian army in Sievierodonetsk, #Luhansk Oblast: at least two US-supplied HMMWV M1115A1 armored IMVs were captured there by Russian forces, though one is seriously damaged and will be likely used for spare parts.
Three MT-12 100mm anti-tank guns were lost too - some shrapnel damage can be observed on one of them and another is completely destroyed together with the cargo truck that towed it.
A Ukrainian AT-105 Saxon armored personnel carrier, which was purchased from Britain in 2015, was destroyed by the Russian forces in the city.

We passed by all the scandals before, but this is just getting ridiculous - the famous @CanadianUkrain1 account, who claims to be fighting on the side of Ukraine, is a liar.
Recently after months of using other people's photos he posted his "battle rifle" - what he wants people believe is a Soviet AKS-74U with a suppressor.
No matter how funny it sounds this is in fact an airsoft replica by CYMA (CM.045C). You can notice the exact same rail, and coating differing from the real thing, and other details which can be easily noticed by anyone who has ever seen an AK in real life.
