Bihar | Two indulging in anti-India activities were arrested. For the past 2 months, accused had people from other states coming in. Those coming were changing their names while booking tickets & while staying in hotels: SSP Manish Kumar

On July 6-7, in name of martial arts, locals were taught to use swords & knives. They instigated others toward religious violence. We have CCTV footage as well as witness accounts. Parvez also raised funds in lakhs, ED is being involved for the same: Bihar SSP Manish Kumar

Supreme Court begins hearing a plea filed by Jamiat-Ulama-I-Hind seeking directions to the Uttar Pradesh authorities to ensure that no further demolitions of properties are carried out in the State without following due process.

UP demolition drive : Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave, appearing for petitioners, calls the matter extremely serious, citing news reports relating to demolition

Sr Advocate Dave says that we don't want this culture and authorities have to act in accordance with law.

UP demolition drive: SG Tushar Mehta raises objections with the locus of the petitioners and apprises SC that replies have been filed by authorities that procedure was followed and notices were issued and process started much before riots.

Haryana | Stones were thrown at Punjab's Advocate General, Anmol Rattan Sidhu near Panipat while he was journeying in a Shatabdi train from Delhi to Chandigarh. The stones broke a glass window. A DDR has been filed by the GRP Police of Haryana on a complaint submitted by the AG.

The AG, Anmol Rattan Sidhu had appeared on behalf of the Punjab government against Lawrence Bishnoi in the Moosewala murder case at the Supreme Court only yesterday & was on his way back to the UT when stones were pelted towards him.
