@Flipkart @flipkartsupport @FlipkartStories You may be one of the most unethical companies! Here's my story. E-commerce #harassment and #fraud.

My story: I bought a laptop for 1.05 lakh from flipkart. Delivery location Pune. I open it on July 4. It is broken. How they send a faulty 1lakh product is beyond me.

I immediately claim my return because apparently I am entitled to a replacement only if @ASUS gives a Dead On Arrival certificate within only 7 days. Sigh, almost like they want to get away by selling faulty products that cost 1 lakh.

My visit to pune ends on July 11th. They give a resolution date of upto July 20. I told them that anything after 12th is impossible because I will not exist in a city.

I have to go to village from Cochi, personal commitment, can't schedule a wedding. And then to bangalore. I can't carry the broken one with me it is sealed and certified. I don't want to invalidate the seal by traveling with it.

So I Have to finish the wedding and come back to pune on the 16th and return to bangalore when I get the laptop. Which btw, they can't ensure if it'll be fine. Else, all of this repeats.

No customer care did anything about addressing this issue. No alternative. No proactive escalation. No Information. They hang up. I waste 3 hours every day trying to get Information. They just parrot what the system tells them.

A senior calls and tells me, "can you provide the DoA?" I'm like tf, it's your job to take it from asus. But I agree to send it as a reply to an email. I never get the email. I got an in-app message.

Turns out I can't reply to it because it's buggy. Browser doesn't allow attachments. The phone message throws an error. So I tweet the proof.

Asus has given a DoA and its sitting at home for 4 days. Flipkart doesn't care about approving it. They don't even want to update their system to reflect that a technician has signed off the product as a faulty one almost a week ago.

Now, the most infuriating thing. Flipkart says the only way I get this laptop is if I am in Pune. That means the burden of getting what I paid for is 1 work week, 2 flight tickets (15k) and one flight missed (6k). And I wait blindly in pune. And let's not forget the 1 LAKH rupees

They don't care if it costs me 20k+ to get to their delivery guy for a mistake they made.

I tried leaving a review outlining my story with only facts. Guess what? It was removed by moderation. Now I am also unable to send a message to flipkart from their app.

Customer care now says they will transfer the call to a senior after I narrate my story for the 20th time and hang up mid way. 4 out of 4 times till before this tweet.

I still have no point of contact and I never get a call when they say a senior will call. How can flipkart not give me a way to contact them? How? For 1 lakh, they can't give a phone number to call and get information?

I ask twitter why I am not getting a refund. Its simple. Give a refund and close the case. But they aren't doing this. That is what makes me think this is #ecommercefraud

Sounds like they want to keep pushing faulty products on buyers and hope someone just stops fighting this battle and lose their money.

This is a mistake from @ASUS @Flipkart and the seller called Tirupati Biz Link LLP.

This is not my fault and it is unethical for flipkart to do this for 3 reasons.

1. I followed protocol
2. I gave clear instructions about how this can be resolved. I have been requesting a refund which they are denying.
3. They have kept no communication line open with me and have even blocked me from reaching them.

@_Kalyan_K This is happening, the company has an ugly disease guiding their policies and protocols.

RT and like if you have been cheated by flipkart and customer care has harassed you.

Tldr: they sold me a broken laptop for 1lakh, not refunding, not replacing, not giving updates.

@fitiquette Flipkart's customer care is so agonizing that I want to peel my skin off. I need help with a replacement resolution and customer care cannot. I saved for 6 months to buy something big and Flipkart has made me age 6 more months in 6 days. Time + Money wasted.
