I'm really worried about that actually! Did you know that pigeons have different traits in different countries. Like in Korea, why do they walk around despite having wings. Doesn't that make their wings useless.

You don't have to walk if you have wings, we don't have wings so we have to. I've even seen pigeons walk along on the crosswalk.

In France, they fly in a scary way, between people like planes. There are times they actually run into people! One almost ran into the director there.

The pigeons in Brazil, when I was there, they're so relaxed. If people try to scare them away while running at them and making noise, they'll just like flap their wings once then keep going on their way...

I'm gonna lose it, what to do... There's definitely gonna be pigeons..

But they probably won't be near the venues right...

Any reason for disliking pigeons? No reason in particular she can point out, she's just not liked them since childhood

Thoughts on Flip That era?
It's our first refreshing concept, right, Hi High was too, but that was more cute, so it was new. Wide spectrum of hairstyle options, and we weren't sweating when we did our dance! In the middle of summer!

The biggest benefit of that, then, was getting to see Orbits without sweating after our performance, which are typically more intense.

She didn't really get to learn Portuguese when she briefly lived in Brazil before moving back to Korea, but she at least remembers (how to count to 10, I think)

Flip That challenge backstories
She did it with Yena and KARD, Youngjae
Yena learned it in a hurry - I told her beforehand, but she had given up saying it was so confusing,

but when she actually did the challenge she did it well! We only needed to record it twice.

With KARD sunbaenims, I was so thankful - the sunbaenims had come with the dance memorized! That was so touching. We had actually seen them, we'd have our rehearsal and they'd do theirs, and in the waiting rooms you can see the rehearsals.
So we saw BM sunbaenim doing this!

We only needed to record twice with KARD too. I really like their latest song too, it makes me dance along - so the members teased me about dancing along all alone to their song...

Choerry and Heejin taught him, but apparently it was his last show there? So people suddenly came in with a cake saying "Happy last show~" so we congratulated him at the time as well. He worked really hard to memorize our challenge.

She did see the PROWDMON's Tell Me Now at the SWF concert, and also saw how they edited the song too for their concert

Tall Yeojin vs Short Yves
Tall Yeojin, I think? Actually, since Yeojin's frame is small, when we do choreo formations, since she's so small, there are times where she doesn't align, if she does the same dance she might be too low, so she'll have to do it less deeply,

it's the pain of the maknae. So sometimes we have to change things up for her a little to fit the formation. Though if she becomes tall, we'd have to come up with formations that account for her being tall too.

Get ~760K USD but never use a smartphone?

Heejin didn't use a phone for 3 years or so though, from '17 to around '20

Not having a phone's tough because she likes finding foodie places

Also a long time ago she lost her wallet after getting a massage and had to call her parents to do a deposit for her, but people from outside Seoul typically don't respond to phones with the Seoul area code,

and they didn't pick up, so she tried contacting her sister (and she tells a story how she resolved all that)

Yes! I really worked hard on the recording for this. It's my first solo in a very long time.

and with ViViD, that was before group activities so I had no concept of wanting to record in my own certain style. So that mindset I didn't have then, I put into "Honestly", let's do it relaxedly with my own voice.

After ViViD it's my first solo in 6 years? Oh yeah.

Heejin) I asked the company this once: if I were to release another solo, would it be a debut or a comeback? Like, "a comeback after six! Years!"
The company said it would be a comeback though, since the solo debut was with the single.

That work was like 2 months ago, so it's been a while since she's heard this too

Mmm, how nice! It's been a long time since I heard the original. Two months ago... As you could tell from the teaser, there were lots of edits made to the song. So I think it'll feel new when you hear it.

Listen to H:SEAN-nim's version a lot, then try comparing it to the new one, I think that would be nice.

Difficulties while recording Honestly?
It's been a long time since I did R&B/soul, so I put more focus on riding the rhythm in a more groovy way (rather than being rigid to the beat)

And I was very proud and thankful when all the other members reacted to this project, I sent it and said I was working on this project and stuff
Hyunjin responded first, saying it fit my voice really well,
and then Lip, Jinsoul, everyone responded that I did well.

Playing guitar: her nails have been too long to play lately, she doesn't think she'll likely play guitar until after the concert tour

She uploaded some song cover practice that she found to Fab but it hasn't been approved yet apparently, she'll check how that's going and re-upload it if needed later

If you had the chance, would you want to release a solo album? Of course if the opportunity comes, I'm open to all opportunities. I want to just try lots of things.

When going onstage, even with the hair/makeup/stylists, I think they tried a lot of things, as I'm the type of person who wants to try everything without fretting.

Back in the day her mom used to not like the moles she had and wanted to get them removed
Heejin wanted to keep the one by her eye against her mom's wishes (who wanted to remove it for face-reading -based reasons)
They did get the one here removed once (in pic2) but it grew back

And by the time she joined BBC, the one on her forehead had actually faded away, (she said she used to have one there too), and BBC looked at the other two as well when Heejin joined, and they said they looked good as is as well
