Then-President Trump’s call for his supporters to march on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, was planned in advance, and he intended to go with them, evidence presented at Tuesday’s #Jan6thHearings on the insurrection showed.

A draft tweet obtained by the Jan. 6 House Select Committee showed that prior to the insurrection, Trump had planned to call on his supporters to march to the Capitol.

Trump never sent the tweet.

The committee also presented texts among Trump’s supporters in the days leading up to the insurrection that suggested that Trump’s call for his supporters to march on the Capitol was premeditated.

CHP investigated allegations that UC Santa Barbara Chancellor Henry T. Yang drove a car that hit a student skateboarding through a campus crosswalk but said it couldn't determine what happened & recommended no charges, according to documents & interviews.
