This August 14 we will be observing the first 'Partition Horrors Remembrance Day', a day dedicated for this purpose by PM @narendramodi last year.
All who suffered the horrors of Partition in 1947 and Hindu refugee legatees should participate in the observance of this day. 1.
Just as Holocaust Day is a day of collective remembrance, of ensuring memories remain, of prayers, and of reaffirming the resolution 'Never Again', our Partition Horrors Remembrance Day should bring together our nation, at home and abroad, for remembrance and reaffirmation. 2.
The Horrors of Partition have not quite come to an end. The persecution of Hindus and other minorities continues in our neighbourhood.
Hence remembrance is important. Like Holocaust horrors, Partition horrors must not be forgotten. Some wounds never heal. Remembrance helps. 3.
Here I explain why it's important to recall, remember Partition Horrors, and resolve 'Never Again'. Nothing should be forgotten of what we suffered and the humiliation we faced when Nehru labelled us 'Permanent Liability'.

Expressway to Prosperity!
And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a leader we all know
Who shines white light to show
How Expressways turn to gold…
(Led Zep rewrite)
PM @narendramodi to inaugurate Bundelkhand Expressway on 16 July 2022.
n1
Foundation stone of #BundelkhandExpressway was laid by PM @narendramodi in February, 2020. In just over two years the 296 km four-lane Expressway has been constructed at a cost of Rs 14,850 cr. The Expressway will boost connectivity and industrial development in the region.
n2
PM @narendramodi is committed to rapidly enhancing connectivity across #India, taking forward the ABV era Golden Quadrilateral and making up for the lost decade of UPA. For Modi Ji, roads like #BundelkhandExpressway are the stairway to nation’s prosperity, progress and power.

The Cold War is remembered (apart from other things) for Checkpoint Charlie types — men wearing dark glasses, hunched, their faces hidden behind upturned collars and pulled down hats, ears never visible. Men who came in from the cold, their past erased, their identities forged. 1
Such men with their past erased and their identities forged in a manner no agency could figure out who exactly was the person who had come in from the cold, were products of the Deep State on either side of the Iron Curtain. Like robots, they were programmed to tell nothing. 2
The Iron Curtain no longer exists, the Cold War is long over, the new geography of 1990s has turned old and Checkpoint Charlie is now a selfie point in Berlin. But the Deep State remains unaffected, unchanged. If anything, it is more sophisticated than ever. 3
Prime Minister @narendramodi will be in #Deoghar today.
Baba Baidyanath’s city has been host to many eminent Indians, among them Rishi Rajnarayan Basu, educator, scholar, leading light of the Indian Renaissance, maternal grandfather of Sri Aurobindo.
n1
Rishi Rajnarayan Basu penned one of the most definitive books on Hinduism — ‘Hindu Dharmer Shreshthata’ (Greatness of Hindu Dharma). A prominent Brahmo Samaji of his time and member of Sanjibani Sabha, he inaugurated Nabagopal Mitra's ‘Hindu Mela’ to promote nationalism.
n2
Rishi Rajnarayan Basu’s nationalism was anchored in India’s civilisation and its inevitable rise again:
“I see this rejuvenated nation again illumining the world by her knowledge, spirituality, culture, and the glory of the Hindu nation again spreading over the whole world.”

Prime Minister @narendramodi unveiled the National Emblem of #India🇮🇳 atop the new Parliament House on Monday 11 July 2022. This marked yet another important milestone in the decolonisation of Lutyens Delhi.
n1
The 6.5 metre tall National Emblem atop new Parliament House is made of bronze and weighs 9500 kg. It straddles a supporting structure of steel weighing 6500 kg.
n2
The National Emblem of #India🇮🇳 is an adaptation of Emperor Ashoka’s ‘Lion Capital’ atop the Ashoka Column at Sarnath. The capital has four Asiatic lions—power, courage, pride and confidence—seated on a circular base.

Amazing Deoghar Story!
In Deoghar, it’s Diwali in monsoon as people light diyas to celebrate the arrival of Prime Minister @narendramodi who will be inaugurating big projects, among them a spanking new airport built in record time and world class AIIMS Deoghar on 12 July.
n1
PM @narendramodi laid the foundation stone of Deoghar Airport in Jharkhand on 25 May 2018. The airport is ready and set to become fully operational in 4 years. It will be the second international airport in #Jharkhand after Ranchi.
n2
PM @narendramodi ’s visionary policies for the rapid development of #India with world class facilities is exemplified by the Deoghar Story. Before 2014, India had 74 airports. Within 7 years, 66 new airports have been established — almost 10 a year.

Prime Minister @narendramodi on Goddess Kali, Aastha, Bhakti:
~ PM @narendramodi on Goddess Kali.
n2
“इसी चेतना और शक्ति के एक पुंज को स्वामी विवेकानंद जैसे युगपुरुषों के रूप में स्वामी रामकृष्ण परमहंस ने प्रदीप्त किया था। स्वामी विवेकानंद माँ काली की जो अनुभूति हुई…उसने उनके भीतर असाधारण ऊर्जा और सामर्थ्य का संचार किया था।”
~ PM @narendramodi on Goddess Kali.
