Hey, @Pendolino70S I saw your worry, so lets make it the message of the day. So, I woke up to your tag on this tweet about GOP support for Ukraine post mid-terms. I think the fear is mostly over-rated and here is why
1. Defense spending is almost as widely distributed as atmospheric oxygen molecules. Just about every member of both houses of congress has real bring home the bacon moments from the defense industry. This makes funding politically lucrative and mostly bipartisan.
2. Americans love an underdog and a democratic Ukraine fending off a rabid Russian bear is ticks all the right boxes to stir American passions.

3. long term incumbency means a lot of members of Congress get access to information that is more frank and more honest than what the
media will push out. I think its pretty safe to say that @JohnBoozman @SenTomCotton and @RepFrenchHill are getting briefs sourced from stuff the OSINT community would love to have like the actual NATO intelligence and frank opinions from NATO and Ukrainian commanders.
4. A dialed in public, it doesn't take everyone to be involved, small numbers of activists can shape the discussion and Ukraine has a core of very robust support combined with wider support for under dogs, democracy, and freedom generally. I wish more talking heads were with us
but, we have enough combined with grass roots efforts like my daily threads, @walter_report , #WeAreNAFO etc that Russian trolls and lackeys don't have the unrestricted access to public opinion shaping they want. So as long as Ukraine can make real progress, and given Russia's
inability to not be barbaric things look good for the next round of funding. Thats not to say there are no dangers. Putin has unleashed every asset he has in the West to put a stop to Western support. He is fire-hosing us with dis-information and false claims for no other reason
than to cause confusion and make the public lose interest. The narratives don't have to line up with reality or each other so long as they sow confusion and obfuscate the truth. Which is why my recurring theme of small fish like us staying engaged is so important.
Its why retweets and follows matter so much. Most of my readers share my desires vis a vis Ukraine but not all of them. Some are from other hobbies and have other interests. Ditto you and everyone else. The retweets and follows help keep the pro-Ukraine message alive in those
peoples' timelines so that if they get polled, when they get hit with campaign ads and go vote they have been second hand educated on the fact that Russia is waging a war of genocide in Ukraine and that if the US and her allies do not stand strong, then the pain will never end.
One final bit of "good news", as far as I know donations to charities like @MriyaAid are still robust and show that large numbers of average citizens are still reaching into their wallets despite inflation and Russia's malevolent media actors to donate to Ukraine's freedom.
so long as we don't let up, we can keep the arms and support flowing and Ukraine will be able to win on her terms. #Arkansas #russiaisaterrorisstate #UkraineRussianWar #Genocide #WarCrimes @mfa_russia <-- still losing!

Wow the Russian minions are up in arms. From the absolute bat shit crazy reaction to the Fellas... claiming we are some sort of government funded psyop, to sell out westerners trying to turn genocide into comedy they have completely gone off the rails.

So I will break it down
The Fellas are not some super-secret blackop, we are normal people with normal lives and intact ethics who think that genocide is evil and the aggressor state (Russia) is to blame. We donate as we can to various causes to put our money where our mouth is, but just as importantly
we have decided to combat Russian dis-info and take back media spaces from Russia and her supporters. It is really that simple. Opposing genocide does not require deep thinking and a complex understanding of this or that issue, all it takes is a firmly rooted ethical and moral

So I talk a lot on twitter, and hopefully my voice is being heard. However, to my readers how many of you have Ukrainian voices in your feeds? I follow @OTorvaldson and @katalina_ada among others and of course Roman who was killed by the Russians because war kills.
This war specifically is killing Ukrainians, that's the whole point of it. Russia is not interested in peace, not interested in "protecting" Ukrainians despite all the false claims of brotherhood and being one people. This is a war of genocide to exterminate Ukraine as a free and
democratic society. Russia is even impressing Ukrainians into its own armed forces and making them fight, kill and be killed by their own countrymen. It's sickening and says everything you need to know about Kleptograd. While that says everything you need to know about that side

There are a lot of shitty people in the world. Sadly, Russia's genocidal war in Ukraine has them coming out of the woodwork. Not just Russians who are steeped in the corruption, but also westerners. One of the biggest is @ArmchairW who is apparently both a US Army vet and a
creeper. How does someone serve in the US Army and go from that place to supporting Russia? How does an American think genocide is OK? Genocide is not a bug but a feature of Russia's plans. Today apparently a couple of universities were targeted, then there was the most recent
attack on a shopping center.... most.... recent.... Until the next one. The killing, slaving, rapes and destruction when does it end? Either A: never if we don't do enough to support Ukraine or B: just as soon as Ukraine can liberate her territory and thus set the conditions for

Buckle up, this won't be a happy thread, but it is a thread that needs to be made to say the quiet part outloud so there is no veneer to hide behind. First off hat tip to @PeterCorless and @marshray for making the TASS info so easy to find
398,353 kids who were stolen per Russia's own admission. Who are they, what does that number mean and using history as a guide what is their likely fate? Those are the three questions where quiet parts need to be said out loud. So, keep your buckets close you might need them to
catch the mess when your stomach decides to do its own forced "evacuation". First off who are these kids? Honestly, no one knows. No one can know. Most are going to be orphans either mom dad were killed by Russian invaders in Ukraine, in filtration, or because Russia has been

So now that the Russian effort has or is about to culminate and its the ZSU turn at bat what would an offensive look like? This is a complex question. Most people want a big offensive that punches through the Russian lines gaining large amounts of liberated territory that
forces the Russian's to retreat or risk encirclement. After all the Russian Army is exhausted and they have not proven very adept at handling forces in a maneuver fight across a wide area. This fits with "western" ideas of what an offensive looks like from Desert Storm.
However, I don't think Ukraine has the level of kit needed for this type of operation. While HIMARS and 155mm tube artillery is aggressively attritting the Russians, behind Russian lines the Russian Air Force is still a major factor. Massed armor invites massed attack. Instead,

So, what is a Fella to do during a meme war? Shall I
A: make donations so that more Russians than Ukrainians die during Russia's genocidal war?
B: help keep up pressure on government officials to support Ukraine?
C: Aggravate Russian officials?
D: Combat Russian dis-information.
E: all of the above.

Here is my entry for A. Not the only donation I have made to support Ukraine and I am not a big-time donor, but Fellas run in a massive multi-national pack that collectively can help the war fighters in real and material ways. Our donations to groups like Image
@georgian_legion and charities like @MriyaAid both help Ukraine's defenders kill orcs and not die in return. Perhaps just as importantly, crowd sources multi-national donations from activist citizens who oppose genocide help keep up pressure on government leaders like
