OSUN ELECTION AND THE FUTILITY OF IDEOLOGICAL POLITICS....

A busy day in office it's been....I'll try and say a few things along this line later.....

Summary: Apart from ANALYSIS, there is nothing practicable about ideological politics IF you have any plan of winning election!

1. If you intend to win election, pls drop your IDEOLOGY FIRST & PLAY INTERNAL POLITICS.

Let me start from here. Performance doesn't really win it IF you have issue with internal politics. This has nothing to do with APC, I'm talking about every main political party EVERYWHERE!

For example, "Why should I win election to govern a State/Country & spend the same resources I cannot account for on my political base? IDEOLOGICALLY, O WRON GAN NI🤣🤣

Party Chairmen will come with different bills, Iya egbe, Iyaloja, Party excos etc...Which money I go give?🤣

This one will come...."Our leader, Xmas is coming & our people in the Constituency is expecting something..."
"Ileya is here & we need N250million to distribute Ram to our people"
"Sir, December la wa yi, won sope ka fun won ni nkan odun"..
They're doing weeding, naming etc🤣🤣

And here I am as the Governor with IDEOLOGY thinking of how to solve real crisis of the people, bill to pay unless they go on strike. Past backlog of salaries & arears to settle, Past contractors to settle...The media to settle if not...
My 4point agenda is hanging...Allocation?

FAAC is not even enough to pay salary of Govt workers. How much is the IGR? Increase IGR drive & you're called another problem in our lives...
Wait, where's the money for my legacy or NORMAL project? And I have less than 4 years to prove a point.

Is there any line in the annual budget to spend funds for the party?
Well, I will rather face the main job of governance to give my party a good name among the people that voted for us...My party leaders will understand...
Hmm, a very good IDEOLOGICAL POLITICS.

Your State workers in any State in Nigeria is less that 10% of the whole population you're supposed to govern & show your work after 3 years+
E.g Oyo State is around 8 million, Osun is around 5 million Population.

In 2020, 115,000 civil servants (+ Ghosts), 1.4% of the total Oyo State population allegedly took a wage bill of N11B/month.
In 2020, Oyo FAAC allocation monthly averaged 4.5B N53.664 billion / by 12).
Osun received average of N2.5billion monthly FAAC in 2020. (N30.627 /by 12).

Whichever way, add your IGR & FAAC together in any State, apart from Lagos & maybe 3 other States, you'll spend all your revenue IGR+FAAC on less than 3% of the population....How about the more than 90% citizens that need infrastructures to show you are working? Politicians nko?

Well, you will return from this IDEOLOGY after 3 years only to discover that strangers have been feeding those who owns the grassroot that brought you to power.

I didn't say it's right o, just saying IDEOLOGY doesn't win election....You must shift ground & accommodate REALITY!

2. If you intend to win election, pls drop your IDEOLOGY FIRST & MERIT WILL NOT GET IT ALL.

TESCOM recruitment in each State a case study in each State:

Teaching Service Commission, assuming the available space is just 10,000 & 40,000 citizens applied like in Kwara State.

Let's assume you have more than available space that met all the requirement on MERIT, shouldn't you give all of them the position based on merit? Remember that even the rest of them met up but no space abi?

Now that is IDEOLOGY...You'll lose election if you do that right thing.

That's the problem....Shouldn't you also allow the party people who toiled all day & night to ensure you became the Governor also enjoy this recruitment without going through all the process? Everyone in their constituencies know they're close to the Govt of the day na...

"My son also needs job o, your daughter just finished her NYSC & TESCOM is recruiting, help us tell your Party Govt that we voted them in our area o"...

You be the judge if it is right or wrong for the Gov to reject their "candidate list" just to meet up with citizens list 100%!

"Imagine, we brought the list from our Constituencies, people that we told that their children will get job if they vote for our party...Now we're in power but Gov said we should tell them to go & do the exam & pass very well"🤣🤣

Sebi he will ask us to campaign for him soon...

So, you either follow IDEOLOGY & allow everyone to get it based on MERIT of going all through the process or you do maybe 70% for the people that went through process & 30% for "Man Know Man"..

Before you shout NEPOTISM, tell us HOW you got Govt job, your children/neighbor etc!

If you do IDEOLOGY & 100% got it, wait till election....If you do even 70/30 and denied 30% of those who passed while favoring ONLY 30% from different constituencies (Politicians, religious leaders, family & friends etc), you have still not done enough anyway🤣🤣

3. If you intend to win election, pls drop your IDEOLOGY FIRST & ISSUE BASED CAMPAIGN DOESN'T WIN IT.

Ok, I won't dwell much on this...Go back and watch all the campaigns before #OsunDecides2022 then check HOW TV/Radio/Online/NGOs/CSOs, analysts rejoiced that Adeleke won🤣🤣🤣

"Campaign must be issue based"..
"Tell us your plans& intentions"...

"They must grant TV interviews etc"
"They must attend open Debate"
"Church/Mosque must set parameters to choose who must be voted for"...

Don't allow THESE DECEIVERS to deceive you, that doesn't win election.

Ask anyone among them why they were happy that Adeleke won in Osun despite not showing them any issue based campaign, being the poorest in debate, the worst in education background (as if education= good leadership)....
THEY ARE DECEIVERS, such ideologies don't win election...

4. If you intend to win election, pls drop your IDEOLOGY FIRST & PRINCIPLE ONLY WON'T GIVE YOU.
Apart from Tinubu & Buhari (Sowore also) that I know that didn't join the ruling party at any point in history as they rise in their political space, mention any other fellow you know!

Peter Obi ran away from APGA after using their platform for 8 years to achieve his dream...No character to build. Prof Soludo joined PDP to get the ticket, then ran to APGA later...Prof Pat Utomi joins EVERY PARTY...Seyi Makinde from SDP to PDP...No need to mention Atiku abi..

You see, that IDEOLOGY to stay and BUILD something that resembles your core values don't win election really.
You'll need to BEND your IDEOLOGY to fit in to local democratic platform that appeals to local sentiment.
All the noise makers of "Youth party" are gone..Moghalu ran also

"Are they the only ones"? Adeleke family has been ruling in Osun political space for decades o. Don't listen to these people, all na scam.

Lastly, don't waste your time on their religious sentiment, THEY'RE HYPOCRITES...
@elrufai was interviewed by @channelstv about Muslim/Muslim ticket in Kaduna....Nobody Interviewed Benue Christian/Christian ticket...Not River State, not any Southern State.
