I can’t speak to who “owns” information acquired by reporters

What I can tell you is the decision whether to publish the information must go through legal counsel, whether in-house/outside counsel, whether NY Times/Penguin Random House
That being said, the LEGAL/ETHICAL decision to publish or not/when to publish/where to publish has the power to change history

I emailed @maggieNYT @nytimes on August 13, 2017 & 68 other individuals with FACTS/EVIDENCE in the public domain @uspto, which could’ve altered history
