New fire approx 10 miles W/SW of Fort Jones in Siskiyou Co being called the #ShacklefordFire. No resources @ scene so limited info but sizeable amount of smoke on cameras - note the left image below was taken ~10 mins earlier & right image is now. share.watchduty.org/incident/853
#ShacklefordFire (10 miles W/SW of Fort Jones, Siskiyou Co) - Copter 506 reporting 10-15 acres w/ high growth potential, ground fire w/ some torching, upper third of the slope w/ a 10mph east wind. No structures threatened.

#McKinneyFire (Klamath NF, Siskiyou Co) - From the community meeting: completed dozer line around Yreka. They have a dozer line up on the hill along the ridge system & a secondary line closer to town. Received precipitation throughout the day on the eastern side.
#McKinneyFire - Crews are also directly on the fires edge closest to Yreka building a combo of hand line + dozer line, have good line around Humbug Creek & working from there to the west. Working in Baldy Cap, copters in there now, mixed conditions due to smoke & weather.
#McKinneyFire - Using aircraft where possible. They're working towards Baker Flat & have dozer line across the ridge system north of Fort Jones as a secondary line. Scott Bar: handline going in there, working towards Mill Creek.

#PebbleFire (#SquawValley, Fresno Co) - 40 acres per CAL FIRE. There was two burned civilians & both air ambulances got cancelled - 1 ground ambulance was able to handle & transport both. Not hearing much - stuck listening to a very long weather readout..

#MesaFire (Erskine Creek, Kern Co) - Intel 24 mapped the fire @ 220 acres. 3 additional large air tankers assigned & have been en-route for a while: T132 + T103 out of McClellan, plus T139 from Fox Field.
#OakFire (#Midpines, Mariposa Co) - From the community meeting: 15,603 acres, 0% contained. Day 1: within 3-4 hours it had moved from Hwy 140/Carstens to Carter Rd & Triangle Rd. Couldn't attack w/ resources on hand, had to protect a large number of structures instead.
#OakFire (#Midpines, Mariposa Co) - Reiterated their good progress made on the western side along Hwy 140, having direct line in from the origin, down 140 & around the S/W edge to Triangle Rd. They're also feeling much more confident about the south side of the fire as a whole.
#OakFire (#Midpines, Mariposa Co) - Still doing a lot of structure defense in Lushmeadows & fire remains established in Snow Creek. They wanted to hold Footman Ridge, lots of resources are in there & are in a hard fought battle on the eastern side of the fire.
#WheelerFire in #Coulterville, northern Mariposa Co: AA440 reporting 2 acres in grass & oak woodland w/ slow-moderate rate of spread, potential for 50 acres, requesting T82 & T83 be sent to this off the Oak fire. Hwy 49 north of Oak Ridge Rd.
#WheelerFire (#Coulterville, Mariposa Co) - Tankers 82, 83, 79 & 80 all assigned to the fire now for a total of 4, plus a couple of copters being sent from the Oak incident. Law enforcement saying it's 5 acres or so now.

#OakFire (#Midpines, Mariposa Co) - Brief ops update posted on MMU Facebook. From that: FF's are focusing their efforts along Jerseydale Rd on the east side of fire, the fire made a substantial run & jumped the road yesterday, was heading up to Footman Ridge last night.
#OakFire (#Midpines, Mariposa Co) - Had heavy air tankers in there last night near Jerseydale & are continuing that today. They're reinforcing the Mariposa Pines community where fire is a 1/2 mile away @ that time an hour ago, have a good plan to protect that community today.
