1. Friendly copywriting ✏️

C2 vocabulary and academic sentences are great.

But not for Twitter 😅

My rules:
🔹 1 thought = 1 paragraph
🔹 simple vocabulary
🔹 sentences not longer than 1 line
🔹 grammar check with @Grammarly

2. Use CTA in threads ⛳️

Your thread can be brilliant. But...

... No Call To Action = no engagement.

Choose the best match for your next thread:

🔹 share
🔹 save
🔹 subscribe
🔹 comment

3. Images are great hooks 🪝

Posts with images stand out in the Feed.

More impressions -> more engagement.

I use @AppPika for fast & catchy screenshots ✨

4. Interact with other accounts 💬

Comment, respond, and distribute your threads.

It's easier to write a good comment than to write a viral tweet 😅

5. Find your hashtags 📢

Some of them are garbage.

But there're some niche hashtags with great content inside!

My favourite are #buildinpublic, #nocode, and #100daysofnocode (challenge).

6. Differentiate your content 🎭

It's hard to constantly write big threads with value.

The good news is that there's no need.

Last week I posted a picture and it got 309 likes 🤯

7. Copy-past tweets are annoying 😬

🔹 top Chrome extensions...
🔹 only 0.00001% use it right...
🔹 10 free tools for your startup...

Wish I could remove them from my feed 😅

Don't do it. Be original.

8. Always try new formats 💥

🔹 threads
🔹 one-liners
🔹 listicles
🔹 memes
🔹 pictures
🔹 engagement tweets
🔹 polls

Once I tried a listicle and it got over 55K impressions 🤯

9. Limit the time spent on Twitter ⏳

Twitter is still a social network that can take all of your time 🥲

Last month I spent around 2 hours daily.

In August I want to reduce it to 1.

10. Sometimes there're bad days (even weeks) 😕

Don't let them demotivate you.

Get used that one day you can get 100 impressions instead of 10K.

That's just how it works. No explanations 😅
