1) Aptos was created in 2021 by 2 former Meta/Facebook employees, Mo Shaikh (@moshaikhs) and Avery Ching (@AveryChing)

2) Aptos has raised over $350 million in funding PRIOR to token launch, from giants such as FTX, a16Z, Jump, Coinbase Ventures, and others (3AC 😲...)

3) Aptos aims to be one of the fastest blockchains (don't they all), with a Time to Finality under 1 second and a maximum TPS of 160,000 🤔

4) Aptos is planning to launch on the Mainnet in Q3 of 2022. Currently, Aptos is running incentivized testnets where users can apply and potentially earn Aptos tokens. AIT#2 just ended, and AIT#3 will begin in mid August. Unfortunately, US citizens are not eligible ☹️

5) In the meantime, users can practice on the testnet prior to the token launch, and who knows...maybe testnet users will receive future airdrops 💸
