The US sanction Russian Olympic champion Kabaeva, who many believe was one of Vladimir Putin’s mistresses and mothers of his kids. The US wanted to sanction her months ago but feared this could trigger Russian escalation (like Russians erase Mariupol and rape Bucha once again).
Here some more amazing pictures of the both.
Media said, Kabaeva and her kids lived on Switzerland until recently. Reports said she had Swiss citizenship. independent.co.uk/news/world/eur…

#BREAKING THREAD Head of Amnesty Ukraine @OPokalchuk says, that today's report by @amnesty was NOT prepared by Amnesty UKR. Further scandalous facts:
1) Data used by Amnesty Intl did not come not from Amnesty Ukraine, but from some international researchers (obviously parachuted) Image
2) Ukrainian office did not participate in either preparation or writing of the report;
3) "Already in the early stage, we get into a dead end". "None of the arguments by our team about the inadmissibility of this incomplete report were taken into consideration" /2
4) Ukraine office "has done anything possible to prevent this publication", but "multiply objections" by the Office Ukraine were answered "with no without any compromises";
5) No working versions of report were sent to Kyiv office; /3

Amnesty ignores many facts: that Ukrainian army evacuates civilians in many cases and under great danger; that Ukrainians are totally outnumbered; that Russia erases the whole cities. Ukrainian human rights NGOs like members of Helsinki Group criticize the Amnesty’s biased report Image
Olexandr Pavlychenko, the President of Ukrainian Helsinki Group until 2017, and since 2019 the Deputy Head of the Amnesty Commission by the President of Ukraine calls this AI report “manipulative”. Image
Lawyer and human rights expert Larysa Denysenko, who worked as a lawyer representing claimants in front of the European Court of Human Rights, and was a Head of Transparency International Ukraine, says: this Amnesty’s report is “extremely biased” and “not an objective report”. Image

Am a migrant and a German citizen who used to work in Ukraine. I tweet my observation about the career chances of a Jew or Afghan in GER vs. UKR politics and the defense sector (not good in Germany). Some Rüdiger appears telling, a Jew COULD be a Chancellor or a President in GER.
No, Rüdiger. There is no case of a Jew being either elected or even nominated for a job of a German Chancellor. The same is about an Afghan-born migrant - who is a Ukrainian Board Member at the biggest Defense Sector company but would have no chance in Germany. Keep gaslighting.
There was only one case, as a Jewish politician was asked about the idea of being nominated for a job a Federal President in Germany. He wisely declined it, saying, "Germany is not ready" for a Jewish Federal President. So no, Rüdiger, you have no idea.

Russians are copy-pasting Nazis, including Nazis from the Soviet movies. The story of Nazis burning alive prisoners locked in a barn is essential for Soviet storytelling about WW2 (see "Come and See" 1985 movie by Elem Klimov). No surprise Russians wanted to taste this feeling.
you can see the full movie (English subtitles, a lot of violence) here, for example starting with the scene of a village pacification and barn burning:
to be clear: it is a terrible movie created by a psycho. Klimov has killed a cow during the film production "for realism", has forced survivors of a similar massacre to play peasants (and triggered their shock reaction), and had a former SS soldier as an actor playing an SS-man

Read this great thread by Kamil. I confirm every point. I was at a mid-position between "white" and "black" in Russian hierarchy. So at school (a military-dominated city) I was bulled as "black", "jew" and "negro". While studying in Moscow though, I was never stopped by police...
..except of 2 cases: once I was walking with my friend who was clearly "black" (i.e. a Georgian-looking Jew), and I was controlled together with him. Or as I have given a police guy a very angry look and had eye contact with him. So looking at my pic you can see the borderline.
In some cases, my face was enough to spark hate, in others not. Interestingly, as I came to Moscow in early 2014, and tried to rent an apartment, I have experienced all these "only Slavs" or "strictly Slavs" or "only Russians" ads. A fun fact: my colleagues tried to convince me..

In Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, a huge poster says: "Time to resurrect!" presenting a map of the Soviet Union, a "Z" symbol and a Russian Nazi "imperka" flag. Under the call: a pawn shop and a micro-credits office are working, providing Russians with little cash for 10,000% or more.
Note the mall name "Eden" on the top, written with Betina Script font. This font is extremely popular in RU since 1990s. It is technically a copy of hand-wrinting of German designer Betina Kuntzsch, developed by Russian designer Alexander Tarbeev in 1992.
paratype.ru/fonts/pt/betin…
This script has been so massively used in Russia (and in Ukraine too), that it turned into a no-go-design solution already in the early 2000s. Still, provincial supermarkets love it, so you can find logos of markets written with this script (of course pirated software) everywhere
