Uraraka Ochaco, was swishing her skirt happily as she chatted away with her boyfriend Bakugo Katsuki as the last bell of the day rung. She was so distracted, she didn't notice the silence that fell over the room as the door flung open and HE walked in.
Their classmates' jaw dropped. Gaps and whispers soon emitted as Midoriya Izuku walked sweetly toward her.

"Not her!"

"I thought for sure they were gonna last."

"This was his longest relationship!"

"He actually held her hand.."

"They were together the whole semester!"
"So, my parents want you to come for dinner this week, Katsuki-kun!" Ochaco chatted away. "They'll love you, I'm sure of-" She was interrupted by a tap on her shoulder.

"Excuse me, Uraraka-san?" Izuku said gently as the girl's blood went cold.

Izuku stared at his shaking hands, frustrated tears pouring onto them. “It’s all my fault…”

“No it’s not! This isn’t your doing…it’s mine! MY mistake. Not yours.” Katsuki tried to reassure him.

“Since when do you lie?” Izuku laughed, beside himself.
“If it wasn’t for me…” He wiped the tears that wouldn’t stop flowing. “This wouldn’t have happened…”

“…So?” Katsuki grumbled, relenting to the cruel truth. “He’s not gonna notice the damn difference anyway!”

“Kacchan. They’re BURNT. After you worked so HARD on them!”
Izuku grabbed the cookies from the tray on top of the oven in frustration. Throwinf them one by one in the trash.

“Hey stop! They’re still edible! Just cause they’re burnt doesn’t mean they lost all the good fucking flavor baked in!” Katsuki grabbed the tray from his hands.

Katsuki revealed a simple gold band with a sapphire diamond embedded at the very top. The retired symbol of peace looked at it in awe. Engraved at the bottom was a phrase that said ‘Win to Save, Save to Win, Come home fo each other in the end.’ He teared up at the sentiment.
“Young Bakugo, this is beautiful.” Toshinori smiled as he wiped a tear off his eye.

“So? You think it’s fine?” Katsuki questioned.

“Yes…it’s lovely, but..” All Might shifted nervously.

“But?!”

“Don’t you think you should…ask him out first? Maybe start with a date?”

Shoto ran as fast as he could looking for his friend. He hated that he memorized all of his favorite bars. He hated that Izuku would go to new ones to throw him off.
He was doing better, Shoto thought. He was finding healthier ways to cope. But it was April 20th. Bakugo Katsuki’s birthday. Or..what WOULD have been Bakugo’s birthday. He felt so stupid for forgetting. And he wasn’t the only one. Others forgot too. But of course HE didn’t.
Izuku would never forget such an important date. Shoto only became aware of it because Ochaco called him freaking out.

“I messed up Todoroki-kun! Have you seen Deku?!”

“No. Why?! What happened?!” He questioned.

Here’s how I see it going down. (Don’t shit on me for this theory, I am a grieving woman) My guess is Izuku shows up, is absolutely devastated by Katsuki’s death, broken. He has a breakdown of some sort and then SFO says:

“Want me to bring him back?”
We AFO/SFO has ERI’s quirk so he can. He calls for an exchange. OFA for Katsuki. Izuku is broken and almost gives in. We see him take his hair and offer it but then whatever tf is actually going on with Katsuki is revealed. His heart starts back up OR his vestige self come in and
he stops Deku from giving SFO OFA. Smacking some sense into him. OR instead of the quirk exchange idea, it’s Deku losing his shit about to KILL Shigaraki and Katsuki comes back at that moment and stops him similar to the Final Exam, like “the one who saves people is you?”

Thinking about Kaminari accidentally causing what is now known as “The Great Breakup of Class A”

It started as a simple question he posed to Kirishima and Ashido. “Would you still love her if she was a worm?”

Kirishima laughed and said “I mean, probably not?”
Mina was gravely offended and didn’t speak to him for the rest of the day. Uraraka tried to urge Kirishima to apologize and when Iida chimed in to say “But darling, he was just being honest. It would be illogical for him love a WORM, no?”

“So would you not love ME then?”
She questioned her boyfriend.

“I mean…I would assume not! I’m not sure I would be able to get to know a worm as intimately as I know you!” Iida tried to defend himself thus leading to her crying to her room.

Shoto asked Momo the same question when he heard about this.
