Toshinori Yagi stared at the boy in front of him disbelief. His heart swelled with pride at how far he had come with his feelings for his protege but still..

“Can you…say that again?”

“I SAID I want to ask Deku to marry me. Do think this ring is fine?”

Katsuki revealed a simple gold band with a sapphire diamond embedded at the very top. The retired symbol of peace looked at it in awe. Engraved at the bottom was a phrase that said ‘Win to Save, Save to Win, Come home fo each other in the end.’ He teared up at the sentiment.

“Young Bakugo, this is beautiful.” Toshinori smiled as he wiped a tear off his eye.

“So? You think it’s fine?” Katsuki questioned.

“Yes…it’s lovely, but..” All Might shifted nervously.

“But?!”

“Don’t you think you should…ask him out first? Maybe start with a date?”

Katsuki looked at him like he was stupid.

“Why would I delay the inevitable?!”

“Well, I mean, I’m sure he loves you very much and you obviously feel as strongly for him but…marriage so soon is..” All Might adjusted his office chair in the teacher’s lounge inside UA.

“You’re only Second Years afterall!” He pointed out exasperatedly.

“I think he should go for it!” Present Mic span his chair their direction.

“So we’re old enough to fight in a war but not old enough to get married?” Katsuki rolled his eyes.

“He has a point!” Cementoss typed away on his computer.

“It’s IRRATIONAL.” Aizawa tried to reason with him from his sleeping bag. “Midoriya will get overwhelmed if you don’t start slow.”

“He’s right, young Bakugo. He probably doesn’t even realize you feel this way.”

“Deku has a page in his notebook filled with ‘Bakugo Izuku’ and another one filled with ‘Midoriya Katsuki’.” Katsuki scoffed. “Besides, that’s what proposals are for. To MAKE him realize how I feel.”

“Solid argument, my friend.” Present Mic agreed.

All Might rubbed his temples. It wasn’t a completely stupid idea. But it was… misguided.

“Have you spoken to his mother about this?”

“Duh.” Katsuki said bluntly.

“And your parents?”

“Used their jeweler for the ring.”

“Yet you haven’t spoken to HIM.” Aizawa pointed out.

“Marriage is a big deal. WHEN you propose should be a surprise but the proposal itself should never be.” He reasoned.

“Excuse me Sensei, are YOU happily married to your soulmate?” Katsuki questioned before looking at all of his teachers. “Are ANY of you?!”

They all looked at each other awkwardly before looking back at Katsuki.

“So? You think he’ll like the ring?” He asked All Might once again.

“Yes Young Bakugo…he’ll love it.” The painfully single former number one hero sulked.

“That’s what I thought.”

Katsuki smirked before beginning to storm out of the room when the door opened and Izuku accidentally bumped into him.

“Ah! I’m sorry! Oh! Kacchan!” He smiled excitedly as his eyes sparkled. “What are you doing here?”

“None of your business.” Katsuki grumbled.

“Oh I didn’t mean to intrude on anything-”

“You’re not! It’s just a dumb meeting with our dumb teachers about something dumb!” Katsuki blushed.

“Oh, I’m sure! See you tonight for movie night with Todoroki?”

“Half and Half’s coming?!” The blonde sulked.

“He always comes!”

Izuku giggled. “You act surprised every time.”

“Whatever. Don’t pick some ghost shit.” Katsuki rolled his eyes before walking out.

“I won’t! See you later!” Izuku waved him out.

He then watched to make sure he was far enough away before shutting the door quickly.

Izuku then giggled excitedly before nervously approaching All Might.

“You wanted to see me?” Toshinori questioned.

“Yes…um…I know you’ll think this is crazy and it was last minute but….but I wanna ask Kacchan to marry me!” Izuku pulled a ring box out of his pocket.

All the teachers looked at each other before hanging their heads low.

“I need to try dating apps again…” Present Mic sulked.
