Hello I would like to share with you the most astonishing thing I have ever seen
At this CPAC booth you receive a silent disco headset that plays harrowing testimony from people arrested for participating in J6
Instead of dancing, you stand around and watch this guy cry
What I need you to understand is that I stood here for about half an hour yesterday and this guy NEVER broke character
He wept sitting on the bench
He wept sitting on the floor
He tallied days on a chalkboard set up for the purpise
People are asking questions and I have answers
The exhibit is a performance art piece put on by the #WalkAway Foundation. They don't have any other comment but you can learn more about them at WalkAwayFoundation.org
Hello, if you would like to ruin the aftertaste of this incredible piece of performance art with some really depressing analysis of Viktor Orban's very disturbing CPAC speech, you can do that here:
I am not live-tweeting Trump's speech but I need you to hear this quote.
"“Our country is being destroyed more from the inside than out. America is on the edge of an abyss, and our movement is the only force on earth that can save it. This movement right here"
1/
"What we do in the next few months or the next few years will determine whether American civilization will collapse and fail or whether it will triumph. Thrive. Like never before. This is no time for complacency. We cannot be complacent."
2/
"We have to seize this opportunity to deal with the radical left socialist lunatics. Fascists. And we have to hit them very very hard. It has to be a crippling defeat, because our country cannot take it.”
Nigel Farage has spoken and it might be good to listen to the things he said, which CPAC Dallas cheered to the absolute rafters
Here's what he said:
In this thread I am going to shorten quotes for clarity. It's the only way to make this thread coherent
I am being careful not to lose meaning or misrepresent Farage's words when I do this
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are under attack!," Farage opens. "The threat is not external! The biggest threat we face is from within. The biggest threat we face is the fifth column in all our countries that is attempting to destroy the family unit, Judeo-Christian Culture..."
Hello, it's CPAC day 3 and a lot is happening and I thought, instead of frantically typing notes in my docs what if I frantically typed them in a twitter thread instead?
This is probably gonna be way too many details, more than anyone should need, real sicko hours
Let's go
We are in the middle of a series of speeches by various people connected to international CPACs titled "The World is Watching."
I'm gonna go back in time and talk about the Hungarian speech in a second but right now we're hearing from Eduardo Verastegui
So far Verastegui has hit on the danger of socialism (as they all have), his hope that abortion will be outlawed everywhere, and the hazards of human trafficking
Really uncomfortable with how much that comes up, do not like that we're framing immigration as human trafficking now
“Whether we like it or not, the peoples of the world can be divided into two groups: those that are capable of biologically maintaining their numbers; and those that are not, which is the group that we belong to.”
“One half is a world where European and non-European peoples live together. These countries are no longer nations: they are nothing more than a conglomeration of peoples.”
Holy shit, @Delta just let me last-minute switch to an earlier flight to Dallas which means I'm not going to miss Moms for America after all, can hardly believe it, what an amazing and beautiful day this is
@Delta It's weird to think about how if I'd gotten to the gate 5 minutes later I would not be on this flight. So many things could have happened to delay me 5 minutes and none of them did and for better or worse my future changed. Maybe not by much or maybe by a lot. I'll never know
(It would be very funny if this plane crashes and that was my last tweet)
