Here’s a thread on how this guy uses the Opensea Flagging Policy to run a scheme that Franklin warned us about:

On July 14th, I traded with RickCaruso, aka Nico__2k (he changed his OS profile/Twitter name) to purchase a Koda for a Clone-x + Meebit + 7.75 ETH total ~ 28 ETH.

How do I know these are the same person?

On the OS profile, you can see RickCaruso owns the ENS Nico2k: opensea.io/rickcaruso

Nico__2k changed his name to RickCaruso on Discordafter our trade.

On the day my Koda got flagged, Nico__2k changed his Twitter handle to NP3.

But in older tweets on the profile, you can see people reply to Nico.

Ironically the tweet is about the flagging policy of OS:

🧠 Blockchain doesn't lie.

The wallets of Caruso/Nico and NP3 are linked.

Here’s a transaction of Nico2k sending a MAYC (NP3’s PFP) to NP3’s wallet, free at cost.

In a DM chat he told me he paid 18 ETH for the MAYC:

2 days after our trade, Caruso/Nico said he regretted the trade:

🚨Now here’s where it gets sticky.

2 Hours after the item got flagged, NP3 wanted to buy the flagged NFT at a discount

The conversation started about another Koda, but quickly turned to the flagged Item, for a flagged Mutant + 2 ETH (value ~ 17 ETH) at a 40% discount

NP3 also shows he is well aware of the flagging policy and that it devalues items.

Hence he is offering me 17 ETh in value, while Koda on BAYC land had a 28-30 ETH floor at the time.

On July 18th, an unknown Twitter account (pramay07) confirms it’s a flagging scheme:

Without my prior knowledge, the Item was flagged before I purchased it, and pramay07 helped unflag it but didn't get paid by Nico/Caruso.

Franklin is one of the previous owners of the Koda, and he confirmed the same Twitter guy contacted him to unflag the item.

He also confirmed that Koda was previously flagged. While it was not flagged when I purchased it

NP3 is currently getting traction within the #BAYC / #MAYC community. I suggest everyone not to buy any of his NFTs or interact with them, as they will get flagged in the future

I waited 3 weeks to post this as I am in contact with OS and Authorities to investigate this. Now that OS confirmed that Caruso/Nico indeed reported the item, it was time to reveal my findings.

It's important the community learns about these schemes and system loopholes

He just deleted his OS account. But on ETH scan you can still find np3.eth and all the nfts he owns. Better not buy his MAYC or Clone-x amongst some of the ones he owns

Some of the NFTs he will need to sell asap, keep an eye out. Dont buy them, as you will be risking a flag on the item after.
