Five hours after the #BidenRaidOnTrump news broke, yet there is still no tweet from @LeaderMcConnell or his @NRSC.

"Vote Republican" means empowering the wing of the GOP that helped legitimize the abuse of power of the last 7 years.

The leadership of the Senate GOP is garbage:

They repeatedly lined up 12-17 members to vote with Biden.

They cheered on collusion hoax; Mueller and 1/6 hype.

50 Senate Dems pass Lib stuff cuz Senate GOP is a joke.

ConGRATS GOP! @LeaderMcConnell finally released a statement almost 24 hours after the #BidenRaidOnTrump news broke and after a day of outrage by @GOP's as to why he and most leading @SenateGOP's are silent.

Funny, to assume that this clown will hold anyone accountable!

What a clown take by @AGHamilton29:

1. GOP/Con Trump haters threw away 2018 and 2020 in name of country over party. Suddenly they care about winning?

2. Why did @SenateGOP reject election integrity efforts and thus cool off the base after spending 4 years promoting 2016 doubts?
3. "swing state" and "moderate" Senate Dems go along with Liberal policies while @SenateGOP's fold on basic/long-standing GOP policy.

Why?

Today could have been avoided if established GOP's spent more energy going after Dems than Trump.

There is more @AGHamilton29 @EWErickson: Biden had a very successful legislative 18 months and to the left of Dems from 5-10 years ago. Most votes were made possible by 12-17 @SenateGOP's leadership and their poodles) going along with it. Why should the base be energized to vote?

Hi @TheStalwart. The ISM service sector data pf this July (56.7) was worse than last year July (64.1) and even July of 2020 (58.1).

Secondly, a recession is in relative terms; a slowdown from a past peak. But you are showing raw terms. (ISM above 50 means the sector is growing)

62 in Dec 2021.

65.9 average in the last quarter of 2021.

55.9 average in the second quarter of this year.

A DROP of 15% from a half a year ago. More proof of recession 🤡
Folks, this isn't complicated.

When talking about a recession (2 quarters of negative GDP) it is a relative term not a raw term. Meaning, it's a recession if we are off the past peak even if current levels are good compared to a few years ago. Weird? K but that's how it works.

152.5 million people were employed right before the Lockdowns.

151.9 million were employed last month.

If adding no net news jobs in more than two years is not a recession, then I don't know what is.

For all the talk that the Unemployment Rate needs to rise x amount or be at level y for a recession, note this:

3.9% was the low point of the UR in late 2000 yet the recession officially started by March when UR was 4.3%.

That's a very low UR yet it was recession. Image
Yo. 64.7% was employed in April 2000 and this was the high point of that boom.

The following March it was at 64.3% -- hardly a monumental change yet March was the start of a recession.

So AGAIN: We can have an official recession without a meltdown in the labor market!
