Freelancing to japa or make Nigeria works for you?
You definitely need to read this
Yeah, freelancing isn’t all that glitters or sweet, it’s a whole lot of an hectic journey for a starter, imagine working and spending your $ and not getting ROI and wanting to quit, yeah that’s how it is for someone just starting.
Now comes another hurdle, choosing between
Major freelancing website, oh 🥺to sell your skills , a lot of confusing YouTube videos 😤 you’re going to watch , ( I started freelancing with @fiverr ), that’s cos I’ve got a lot of people to help through a NGO opportunity, but as normal day Nigeria trying to succeed with
Freelancing, then you have got to have a lot of balls, I’ve made thousands of dollars with Fiverr ( you want to ask what’s the niche right?) , I’m going to tell you that there’s no selling niche once you’re able to give it your 100%.
And talking of giving it your 100% also takes you not settling for less, one of my mentor says, “look at your profile, does it worth a $?”, that’s your shop for God’s sake, you have to treat it to the best which also includes the gigs you dish out, in any niche , you’re trying
to compete with thousands of sellers, imagine not having a good gig or a damn profile, you ain’t ready bro/sis.
You’re still a newbie, you will make mistakes, make sure to be well mentored and the hunger should also be there.
You can’t do all those perfectly and forget one aspect of it which is consistency and staying active, oh no!, on Fiverr the AI also ranks your gig with your activeness, even late nights and one thing that will helps is planning.
This thread you will surely have so many questions, it’s damn human thing to be curios, I’m going to tell you there are more to learn in future cos I’m also exploring more other niches and will be happy to take you along, we have to make Nigeria work for us.
