The nonstop #RussiaGate BOMBSHELLS were a far more effective political vaccine than the medical one I was supposed to take

I get it, you don't want me to have political representation. Can we just skip to the part where you make that illegal
I'm getting very bored of just being lied to like this. The playbook has been the same for years now. It's reached the point where normal people can identify each play as it's happening.

Either put us all in jail like you want to, or give it up. You're only making things worse
Not just for us, but for yourselves, I mean. Trying to convince me that Trump stole nuclear secrets to sell to the Saudis, therefore he can never be our president ever again, doesn't turn me against Trump

It raises my contempt for you to levels you shouldn't want it to reach

Because poor whites hatefully vote for their cultural interests over the economic interests that were supposed to rationally and logically come to eliminate their culture.

While understanding, on some level, that mass migration *also* leads to their economic replacement
Wignats are—and I'm just describing reality here—mostly lower/working-class

They aren't irrational actors, even economically. They are actually speaking from a v. real place of lower-class political anxiety. Because they know neither the D's or the old R's represent them at all
Vox-tier analysis has been around for decades, constantly confused, befuddled, why these people willingly vote against their "economic self-interest"

The answer is so ragingly simple: because they understand their economic self-interest better than Vox-tier experts

There was no way around this. No one would have accepted him doing such things, it would only have "proven" everything they were saying about him as some great menace to "democracy," setting everything back

Trump's fate was to be a martyr—in his first term, at least
Trump wasn't even some great revolutionary, he's just a reformer. His goals were simply to stop the worst, most destructive parts of the regime (immigration, trade, etc)

You can't start locking people up until you prove to the world the system refuses to let itself be reformed
One very good way to do that is to goad the regime into trying to lock *you* up—for the crime of getting elected

The crazy thing about Trump is he obviously isn't some Ozymandius from Watchmen mastermind who had all this figured out

He was/is just the man for the moment

Regular reminder that Viktor Orban keeps winning democratic elections with such an overwhelming majority he can rewrite the Hungarian constitution at will

It's become increasingly apparent that regime ideology uses "fascism" as a stand-in for "things that normal people want"
This is actually pretty revealing; in the 20th century, fascist movements only arose in *response* to impending communist revolutions within their nation

If modern progressives truly view the new right as "fascists," what, exactly, is this "new fascism" arising in response to?
This isn't a rhetorical question or a cheap gotcha. Boot moans about the emergence of right-wing "authoritarianism"

But the defining element of progressivism, of social justice, CRT, etc, is the abandonment of liberalism in favor of a new breed of leftist authoritarianism

This has forever been the function of journalists. This is George Kennan, author of the Soviet Containment strategy, talking about WW2 in 1939

It's never been about "truth." It's always about serving the regime. Only question is if the regime + its journos serve their own people
Kennan was an OG frog in that he came up in an age where most of his contemporaries believed in the Soviets, even he was sympathetic when he first visited the USSR

Even *after* WW2 the regime had no real understanding of the Soviets, because they *admired* them
His contemporaries admired the USSR because it promised the ultimate managerial-rational system, which was the ruling logic of progressivism in the '20s-30s (and still is, but that's something of an aside)

But the question is what is "normal society," this isn't one, that much is now obvious, its undergirdings are all fake

I want to preserve normal *people*. Is that even possible if you throw them into "normal society"?
This deserves a full thread which I can't do right now, probably don't even know how to answer, but to me this is the basic question
That said, if "normal society" has become a grinder of normal people, then the most obvious solution is to create a parallel culture to preserve normal people until what is "normal" has failed

People didn't "meme themselves" into believing in the Iraq War. They were actively memed into believing it by every propaganda organ of the nation

Same process plays out constantly 20 years later, and you're called a conspiracy theorist just for noticing the process


Ukraine didn't even occur to me, that's how insignificant it is to actual Americans, as opposed to our ruling class.

I'm thinking George Floyd, vaccines, fortified elections, 1619 Project, etc. It's all Iraq-tier, and it's all propaganda
People don't "meme themselves" into any of these things, it's all *insane*. People don't just go insane out of nowhere.

It requires a major ideological effort to get normal people to believe in insanity. The exposure of this process is why every institution is breaking down
