These are things that worked for me so they might not be suitable for others but I still would like to share my personal experience
Introduction:
I have never been diagnosed w binge ed but I know that its something that I have suffered from for a long time. The last few months I’d binge 3-4 times a week and I would always gain and feel miserable. After following these steps I reduced my binges to 1 time max.
#1 Stop restricting too low
I know that everyone expects things to happen fast but it just doesn’t work for the long run. I’d always get hungry in the evenings and eat everything that I could find in the kitchen.
#2 Bring Up Your Calorie Intake
I recommend doing Mid/High res. For me it’s anywhere from 500-750 kcals and I always feel satisfied. That’s enough for you to have 3 meals + 2 snacks.
#3 Meal Prep!!!
This is crucial. Once I started doing this and not having to decide what to eat the same day and always eating processed stuff, my binge urges vanished. Mostly because I had food prepared and I couldn’t have anything unplanned. Meal prep also kept me busy.
Here are some examples (both are mine)
#4 Cook Your Own Food and Cut Out The Sugar Completely
I haven’t had sugar in like a week now but even before that I always used to crave it sm. Now it feels like I don’t need it at all, I don’t get any cravings and the absurd need for chocolate or candy
#5 Drink Water!!!
I can’t stress this enough but drink your goddamn liquids. Green tea, lemon water with mint or just plain old ice water are your best friends. I usually try to drink around 2.5l daily. It also clears your skin and makes you feel more energised.
#6 Walking and Low Intensity Exercise.
You don’t want to overwork yourself for nothing and make yourself exhausted. I usually walk 25k (≈23km) daily. This alone makes me burn 1000+ calories.
#7 Teach Yourself Different Habits
For example, I always sit in the same place, use the same utensils, eat at the same times, go for walks on certain times and fill all of my other free time with meeting friends or going out with family.
#8 Don’t Isolate Yourself
That is something that I used to do. I would miss out on so much fun stuff w friends due to feeling fat and bloated after a binge. Now I always have my own food packed w me and I can go out without worrying what we will be having for lunch.
Last but not least:
Try to stay away from the kitchen. Yes I know that for some it might not be that possible but as the old saying goes “Out of sight, out of mind”

How I manage to burn 900-1200 kcal every day



A short 🧵 for edtwt w my experience
Walking:
Yes I know, this is just common sense but I can't stress it enough. Not only you feel great afterwards but a 40 min walk can burn up to 350 kcals depending on the distance and speed. I usually can manage to do 20k+ steps every day.
HIIT workouts in the morning:
You can easly burn 250 kcals by only doing 30 minutes of intense cardio without any equipment or going to the gym and I usually do them at around 9am
