1. Prioritise Sleep. A meta-regression of 40 prospective cohort studies found that sleeping less than seven hours per night was associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality.
2.Improve Stress management. Studies show that a greater positive affect, such as feeling emotions like joy, is associated with longevity and lower mortality risk. Wear a smile and reduce stress in your life
3. Engage in strength based exercises. A meta-analysis of over 370,000 participants found that resistance training was associated with a 21% lower risk of all-cause mortality and a 40% lower risk when combined with aerobic exercise.
4. Eat nutrient dense food. In addition to when and how much food you eat, what you eat also contributes to healthy ageing. Eat food directly from nature. Mostly plants, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, lentils, nuts, and seeds.
5. Eat 80% full. Eat until you’re 80% full. Generally, this is when you feel satisfied but not full quite yet. Thats possible when you are eating mindful and not in a rush or with TV or mobile on. Mindful and grateful eating can change your health.
6. Be part of a community.Research into longevity has shown that our communities &social circles play a more significant role in determining our healthspan. When it comes to healthy aging, social interactions may be what brings us over the tipping point into a long and healthy life

As a young working actor, George Clooney struggled with how to tackle his audition process. Clooney was always concerned about the problem that he faced: how to get an acting job and earn some much-needed money.
Clooney turned the situation around and had a realization: the audition was also an obstacle for the producers, who needed to find someone to fill the role and do an amazing job. Clooney began to approach his auditions from a different angle.
You sleep well when ur heart rate variability is high. High variability is indicative of an active parasympathetic nervous system, the part of the nervous system responsible for our rest and recovery. What you can do :-
1. Gargle to unwind before bed. In doing so, you'll stimulate the vagus nerve which will in turn switch on the parasympathetic nervous system. 2. Take a 15 minute walk before bed. Walks and green views help us unwind.
3. Relaxed muscles allow for an active parasympathetic nervous system.Consider a warm bath before bed. 4. Avoid watching toxic content.
1. Sleep 7-8 hours. Testosterone levels dip drastically post 40. Good sleep will help recover. Also Cortisol levels increase because of the lifestyle that most people have and that pushes testosterone further lower.
Low testosterone level means its very difficult to increase muscles. Sleep well. Get away from screens an hour before bed. Supplement D3 and Zinc to oil the machinery for natural production of testosterone.
If you are trying or looking to lose weight here's a good tool kit to follow.
Sit down with a pen and paper and answer the following questions.
Why do I want to lose weight? List the benefits.
How much of my diet consists of ‘real food’?
Do I sleep enough to feel refreshed? If not,why not?
When stressed, what do I use to soothe my emotions? It may be food, alcohol, social media or something else entirely.
What movement do I do on a daily basis? How much do I walk? What movements would I like to bring into my life?
It’s been 28 years plus I started my enterprise. Have seen 4 cycles of recession. Huge ones. But every year the business made money. Not a single year our balance sheet was in red. How did we do it? #Thread
1. Luck. I give credit to luck more than anything else. Mostly we as humans blame luck for failure and credit ourselves for success. I was there at the right time at the right place, always
2. Conservative approach - I was never bothered about top line but bottom line. So always ran the business conservatively. Never speculated.I have always been scared of going out of business. I always believe what we got yesterday is not guaranteed tomorrow.
1. Waking up early and sleeping early. My morning few hours are zero distraction 2. Meditating - At least one session of 5-10 minutes a day has made me lot more mindful in the chaotic world
3. Standardised most of routine. I wear the same jeans to work all five days. Have same t shirts for daily wear. Same safety shoes. Eat mostly same food almost every day. This has helped me free up my mind from not so important things in life
