NASA FIRMS data from the past 24 hours additionally observed heat anomalies fires in the rear of Ukrainian-held territory northwest of Solodke, which would be consistent with a Russian advance into Solodke.

7. We recoded the cumulative Russian advances around Bohorodychne in northern Donetsk Oblast as Ukrainian counterattacks given Ukrainian forces have repelled Russian attacks on Bohorodychne and Russian forces have not yet established control over the village as of August 16.
