The business of sports administration is a close #Cabal. Sports generate the amount of money that common people can't even imagine. No wonder everyone wants a finger in this pie. And all this without any accountability. The moment a government wants to set things straight,
Out comes the banner of "interference" followed by de-recognization. As the future of its sportspersons and their participation in events is involved, governments backtrack or compromise.
The sports administrators are some of the most powerful people on this planet.
Whenever there is a sporting extravaganza, apart from athletes and the officials, the category of people which throng the venue is of escorts / call girls and who uses their services is anybody's guess. All this at the expense of the federation.
Indians will remember the turf war that has been going on for ages regarding various sports federation in India. You must have heard about how each federation was the fiefdom of a handful of people like Randhir Singh, Kalmadi, Khanna etc.
I'm not surprised at what has happened.

☆☆Atmanirbhar Bharat☆☆

A story about Atma Nirbhar Bharat and Kanpur Cantt.

Author Unknown

(Via WhatsApp)

It is a story of Atmanirbhar Bharat and clever people with indomitable spirit, who worked to give India some teeth when it was needed. Their names are long forgotten.
The story begins in 1948 during the Kashmir operations. During those desperate days the IAF was in operations to assist 160 Brigade in repelling the Pakistani invaders. India had no heavy bombers except the Tempest, a fighter bomber with very low payload in bombs. Improvisation
was used and transport Dakotas converted to bombers with bombs literally rolled off the aircraft especially in assisting the besieged garrisons in Poonch and Uri. After the cease fire in late 1948, there was a serious rethink at Air HQ in Delhi and a strong need was felt for the

The Mystery Of Who Pinched Asha Parekh’s Bottom.

(Received via WhatsApp)

In my second term, there was a change of command at the NDA. The Commandant Maj Gen Ranbir Bakshi, MC proceeded on retirement in Aug 1966 and with him an era
associated with WW-2 ended. What was more distressing for us cadets was the departure of his beautiful and effervescent daughter Sunita Bakshi (now Garware). She was a source of inspiration (euphemism for misery) for all first timers at the Equitation lines and behaved more
like its Adjutant than the Commandant’s daughter. It is pertinent to add that both father and daughter were accomplished riders and despite her negatives at the equitation lines we were all indeed sad to see her go more than her Dad.
Gen Bakshi was replaced by

Dilip Kumar’s rare appearance in a patriotic film had him mouth one of the proudest patriotic songs of his times. Featured in the film Leader, it talks of the pride the hero feels as a citizen of free India and how corruption should not be allowed to compromise on the freedom.

On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day celebrations today, wishing you Good Night with the song "Ae mere watan ke logon zara aankh mein bhar lo paani", which is a non movie patriotic song (1962).
Copyrights ©️ with owners.
Narration: Capt D Kanathey and Col Gyan Prakash.
One of the most popular of all Hindi patriotic songs, “ae mere watan ke logon” was created by C Ramchandra to boost the morale of the Indian Army who were then fighting external aggression against heavy odds.
This song was famously sung in front of the then India Prime Minister
Jawaharlal Nehru and it brought tears to his eyes.
This song still has that effect. Indians, who listen to this song can still be moved into tears on listening to this patriotic song. The lyrics of this song are written by that poet par excellence Pradeep, and his nationalistic
