Oral and anal swabs could be useful for detecting monkeypox before lesions appear.

If oral and anal swabs are positive? You know they come with airborne aerosols. But this thread is about another study.
Which you might recognize from these graphs showing positive upper respiratory tract swabs.

"The infection control implications of upper respiratory tract viral shedding should be considered in future outbreaks."

That means they think #MonkeypoxIsAirborne.

Period. Image
3 weeks breathing out Monkeypox. And more, because they didn't start measuring until lesions appeared.

As my quote tweet in the first tweet said ... Oral swabs were positive BEFORE lesions appeared. Image
Here's the study Ms. Bransell was reviewing.

You'll notice that NO MATTER THE SYMPTOMS, the oropharyngeal swabs were positive. Image
BTW, If you have Monkeypox and get any symptoms again?

You are contagious again. Image

CDC: Monkeypox is not airborne.

And CDC: Wear a well-fitting mask.

Me: well-fitting mask could only mean aerosols. Which are airborne. Otherwise, you could wear a faceshield for droplets only.

Study on fomites- reveals that #MonkeypoxIsAirborne

Two roommates in Utah in May 2022. One experienced 30 days from symptom onset to resolution. The other was 22 days.

"UDHHS personnel entered the residence discreetly wearing recommended personal protective equipment." Video below.

And went swabbing.
70% of the 30 items tested positive. Including all 3 porous things. Nothing yielded a positive viral result. Image

The alien inside of you that is letting you read this, right now.

The alien is NOT a fan of SARS-COV-2.

A Cheerful Thread. Image
Did you realize that after you catch CoVid-19, that you can walk away-with a parting gift of multiple sclerosis (MS)?

A healthy 24 year old female caught a MILD case of CoVid, and within ONE week, she developed numbness and weakness in her left leg. Months go by and she
struggled with inclined walkways. Wheelchair ramps in other words. Not exactly the steep ramp that Trump had to tippy-toe down.

She put aside her cane for an MRI- and she had a lesion in her brain. Got admitted, and then they pulled her nervous system out of her body and...

People calling me antivax because I mask?

5 or 6 mRNA, 1 Novavax (second on 24th), and now what do I see?

92% against symptomatic infection?

Guess who's going to be taking a little trip to Cuba?
It's not quite as good as an N95 at 95%, or N100 at 99.97%.

But it's the nose and mouth equivalent of a #corsirosenthalbox batting cleanup in a room.
And where there's a will, there's a way.

How does this make any sense ? One way masking with a single-ply cotton mask that a child normally wears?

"Common fabrics, including the thin cotton and bandana (2 ply), had low efficiencies, mostly between 30% and 50%."

So - max only 1/2 of those

aerosols are being blocked.

And per @linseymarr - that is simply not good enough.

@megdrosen - great article, and another practical detail no one thinks about.

So, I'm selling my house. Partly to buy a business, and partly because I've been convinced the economy can't handle the continued cascade of LongCoVid bodies falling.

And have been plagued with second doubts. Is it really the right call?

No more doubt. Thank you, Biden for
providing such clear evidence that they do NOT know WTF they are doing.

CoVid is a numbers game.
A% get CoVid.
B% gets LongCoVid despite vaccinations.
C% gets disabling LongCoVid

If you remove the ability for the poor to easily access them?

The Great
Depression only had 25% unemployment.

Pandemics can only be political for so long - then they become lessons in economics. Economic lessons then become political in the regime change sense.

We are living in the documentary, "Idiocracy."

Jha, Walensky, and Biden - all idiots.
