@nicolamlow @angie_rasmussen @PIDJournal @LancetRespirMed @icmr_niv And by July, Kerala's Institute of Advanced Virology had sequenced samples from the cases 1st reported showing CV-A16 & CV-A6 (with CV-A16 being most predominant), consistent w/what's previously been seen in southern India:

(but that's no excuse for that hot mess of a letter published in @LancetRespirMed)
