1/ It's still less than a day since the first information on the mint exploit on @GlitchProtocol's #BSC bridge was published. And boy, has it been an eventful time since then. You know that hell is about to freeze over when yours truly is allowed to enter $GLCH tg without a ban
2/ So what do we know so far? @TheGlitchFather made an appearance after a few months of watching from the sidelines and had some interesting things to say. First of all, they have caught one of the bad actors.
3/ So is this true? In my view, yes. The movement of the tokens minted does not suggest it was performed by any of the team members we have followed, this might have taken them by surprise.
4/ The exploiters wallets was funded by the bridge wallet more than a month ago, so we know the people doing this had access to the bridge for a long time. A random hacker is unlikely to have waited for this amount of time, and finding the person this fast also says inside job.
5/ Sean seems to be pointing a finger towards a 3rd party dev, but it's well worth to keep in mind that while yes, the contract was created by a 3rd party the ownership was also transferred. If it had outside access, this is a big flaw the team failed to recognise.
6/ The cosy times soon shifted though, and suddenly those who brought attention to this major flaw that could have put @GlitchProtocol in a state beyond repair on both chains in just 4 transactions, are still a bunch of misinformed fudsters.
You're welcome, man.
7/ If all of this wasn't enough, this morning we also got a surprise announcement. 25% of the liquidity was removed from @Uniswap to be put towards new CEX/DEX listings. We'll put aside the fact that @AramGlitch recently said this is a bad market for listings and look at the data
8/ After pulling 557,929.9 $GLCH and 28.1 $ETH from @Uniswap, the $ETH was swapped for 45,056 $USDT. This rules out a DEX listing, or why would you sell the pairing funds? But the funds were not sent to a CEX either as the chart below will show.
9/ Instead, we had a salary payout. This makes sense as it's the salary days of the month in $GLCH land. But does this mean they are running out of cash? Their vault that just months ago had several $100k of stables is not down to $12k
10/ While the team still have plenty of $GLCH tokens, they likely wants to avoid themselves or team members selling at this price. But to cover it under the guise of new listings seems low. In character, but low.
11/ But let's jump back in time. You guys remember my chapter on @TheGPoolFather being @rohan_glch?
Both team members and $GLCH supporters were both upset by this, so allow me to anger you once again by showing my current @etherscan view of the treasury
12/ So @TheGPoolFather looks to be on the payroll here. Let me show you how his wallets have been set up. As you can see the Wei Dai 2-wallet is a central part of the wallet system.
13/ While it did fund the wallet on the $GLCH payroll, Wei Dai 5 is slightly more isolated and I could be wrong as it have been using its own Binance deposit. Wrong or not, this chart has relevance. Notice the name Mandaliciouszz that has been fed $ETH from the main Wei wallet?
14/ This transactions shows us that Wei has been kind enough to fund the setup on @opensea for a fairly low key #NFT artist called Mandaliciouszz.
Does this lady have anything to do with the $GLCH / $GPOOL scam?
15/ Being a friend of Wei Dai is not a crime, and I would suggest not causing her any grief. This person seems to have done nothing wrong, but there is one interesting detail we can get out of this. Find her website, you will also find she is part of the Barde family on Bali.
16/ So to summarise, it looks to me things are getting desperate. The actions taken by the team on chain suggests there will be no new DEX or CEX listing for $GLCH in the near future. Cash supply is shrinking and to get the supply back below 89m they need to burn over 500k tokens
17/ This also makes the timing interesting for $GPOOL to suddenly come alive for a new raise of $50k for a project that is obviously as fake as they get, with all graphics blatantly stolen from @NoGravity_Games
1/ While I'm not yet fully back from my extended break, I felt this day needed a little bonus thread. The past 2 chapters have been quite lenient on @TheGlitchFather and even absolved him of some conspiracies. The truth is what matters, not flinging accusations for the sake of it
2/ So while $ARC has been the dominant theme lately, we're heading back to $GLCH now. There are still some huge fans around that has labelled me a liar, and they might find this one interesting as it's easy to follow and do not require much research or critical thinking.
3/ One of the most prominent fans had a post on telegram the other day that I found funny. I had almost forgotten about @GlitchProtocol's ambition of being blockchain agnostic and bridge friendly.
