Facts:
The #LTC wait list is >30,000.
There is NO SPACE except in LTC homes people do not want to go to (for good reason).
Hospitals have charged the LTC/chronic bed co-payments since 1996 (Mike Harris brought them in). Thus this new bill is not about that.>

The bill gives NEW powers to assess, share personal info & admit a patient into a LTC home WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT.
The elderly & patients w/ disabilities have an EQUAL right to care & not be deemed bed blockers.
