A question?
Given the government won't debate the the Human Rights Act petition before the 2nd reading of the #rightsremovalbill.
Should there be a protest outside parliament on Monday 12th September?
Btw I'm not looking to organise, I wouldn't know how.
A slightly tidier thread on the @MHRAgovuk approval of the Moderna Bivalent 💉
According to the "Information For Healthcare Professionals", the Omnicron booster has been approved due to anti-body production gov.uk/government/pub…
The original 💉 was approved based on 💉
efficacy from case reduction.
Why has the Omicron booster been approved based on anti-bodies not efficacy? Why hasn't a constant approach been used?
The anti-body data comes from the following report "A Bivalent Omicron-containing Booster Vaccine Against Covid-19" medrxiv.org/content/10.110…
You will see the tables match.
This report also contains a direct comparison between the original covid vaccine & the new one.
Important! @MHRAgovuk have not changed their advice on 💉 for pregnant women, the Public Assessment Report always stated "sufficient reassurance of safe
use of the vaccine in pregnant women cannot be provided at the present time"
Reuters Fact ran a piece of the Pfizer Public Assessment Report in May 21, they claimed it is an old document that has since been updated.
Fact Check-Screenshots do not show Pfizer declaring vaccines unsafe reut.rs/3KNvMur
If I was an old document why does it contain...
an additional annex for vaccination of 12-15 year olds?
Why have I just seen a lot of Tweets saying it's a new think that the covid vaccine wasn't recommended for pregnant women?
It was on the @MHRAgovuk advice from the start.
🪡 Given the huge number of Tweets in the past week condemning Lockdowns & masks, & people saying it must never happen again, it is time to revisit this:
People rejoiced in the Coronavirus Act being repealed, but most fail to understand that Lockdowns were implemented using the
urgency procedure (section 45R of the Public Health Act).
A single minister can decide a matter is urgent (at their sole discretion) & immediately implement measures relating to public health.
There is no requirement for the legislation to go through parliament until 28 days
later (longer if there is a recess).
"The instrument may be made without a draft having been laid and approved as mentioned in subsection (4) of that section if the instrument contains a declaration that the person making it is of the opinion that, by reason of urgency,
Polio is spread mainly through fecal-oral transmission. E.g. poor control of sewage.
-the government have found polio in waste water
-the government allow raw sewage to be released into costal resorts where children swim
-they do nothing to stop the sewage (they voted for it)
Their response:
-completely ignore the sewage issue & continue to allow water companies to pump sewage into the sea
-they claim the polio vaccine protects for life, a small group of children remain unprotected
-instead of focus efforts on these unvaccinated children, they
have started a booster campaign for all
--are these boosters necessary?
--have there been Safety trials on the additional dose?
-- they claim the vaccine gives a lifetime of protection, won't an additional dose damage confidence in vaccine effectiveness
The NHS is inviting children aged 1 to 9 in your borough to receive a vaccine against polio. For some children this will be an additional booster dose if they are already up to date with their routine vaccinations, in others who are not up to date it will be a catch-up dose.
Traces of poliovirus have been found in sewage in some London boroughs - the vaccine will boost your child's protection. Polio can be very serious and in unvaccinated people can on rare occasions cause paralysis.
You will be contacted by the NHS to book a vaccination appointment for your child. More info can be found here: gov.uk/government/pub…
