Typo fix: Loehrke's Jan 6 buddy is #ZZtopPB, James Haffner. Both originally from the Seattle area, both moved quickly after Jan 6 - Haffner to South Dakota. Here they are both together while Haffner sprays the officers guarding the Columbus Doors. 4/

New: Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes just interrupted his live show - seems a raid by FBI. "Can we do this another time?" "I'll get a lawyer and we'll sit down...". (h/t @chadloder) Recall: McInnes was partnered with the just-raided Russia-sponsored Black Hammer group in GA. 1/

Gavin McInnes wasn't at the Capitol attack & claimed to have left the Proud Boys, but he's deeply connected to the network of J6 influencers. He was working with James O'Keefe of Project Veritas by at least 2014, 2 years before founding the Proud Boys. 3/

Trump's hysterical meltdown on Truth Social this morning ("I am as innocent as a person can be", and "PRESIDENTIAL RECORDS ACT!") makes more sense now that we see Judge Reinhart ordered today that the redacted Mar-a-Lago search warrant be released (h/t @atrupar, @alanfeuer). 1/ ImageImage

For those feeling whiplash this week as the news swings from Trump treason (stolen classified docs) to obstruction ("insane" Mueller Report memo), there's one common link: Asst. AG Steven Engel. He co-wrote the 2019 memo (L) then in 2022 became Trump's Natl. Archives rep (R). 1/
Steve Engel, as head of the Office of Legal Counsel, is there to give the President legal advice. In this June's J6C hearings he played the noble civil servant: said he'd pushed back at bad ideas and agreed with others to resign en masse if AG Rosen was fired. Watch. 2/

#SeditionHunters - seems today FBI is finally picking up the B Squad, the Three Percenter militia group tied to FL Congressional candidate Jeremy Liggett. They did rally security Jan 6 morning, then came to help attack the Capitol. Here 2 of them rush to join the tunnel fight. 1/
The B Squad were identified over a year ago; easy with their nametags - Liggett brought his whole group to DC on Jan 6. FBI moves slowly but they get there in the end. 2/

The picture on the Mar-a-Lago docs is filling in: John Solomon has now released a letter from NARA to Trump with more details. NARA knew all 2021 that Trump had docs; they told DOJ by Feb 2022 that some were classified; by May, that some were ultra-classified TS/SCI & SAP. 1/
In April/May, Trump attorneys were negotiating intensely to keep FBI from seeing docs taken from Mar-a-Lago; FBI was prepping to search for more; and Kash Patel started spinning to media. Yellow highlights in April-June timeline show related events. 2/
