Two new fast Layer 1 Blockchains are emerging.

#SUI by @Mysten_Labs and #Aptos by @AptosLabs.

Are they a threat to @solana?
Both SUI and Aptos projects came out from ex-Facebook/Meta teams

SUI was founded by @EvanWeb3, @EmanAbio, @b1ackd0g, and @GDanezis

Aptos was founded by @AveryChing and @moshaikhs

They all came out from the original Facebook failed Diem Crypto project
Interestingly, they’ve raised money from similar VCs
SUI raised $36M led by @a16z with the participation of @Redpoint, @lightspeedvp, @cbventures, @ElectricCapital, @standardcrypto, @NFX, @slow, @ScribbleVC, @SamsungNext, @Lux_Capital, Bienville, @hack_vc and @eladgil

Followed up by a Series B estimated @ $200M by @FTX_Official
Aptos raised $350M led by @a16z with the participation of @FTX_Official, @jump_, Tiger Global, @katie_haun, @multicoincap, @cbventures
All of them are,
- Proof of Stake networks (no GPU/ASIC for mining, just standard servers)

- No need for Layer 2 bandaids (like Ethereum)

- All do parallel execution (different from Ethereum that does sequential execution)
All can handle massive number of transactions per second (100k+)
While all three claim to do 100k+ TPS, only Solana is running on mainnet and has been battle-tested to a high processing number of transactions per second. We are about to see what Aptos/SUI are capable of
Who do you think is going to win the battle in the long run?

,@solana has 1964 validators and 1489 RPC nodes, although they are highly concentrated in US and EU.

Only one node in South America, 0 in Africa, 0 in Australia, and 0 in the Middle East.

I will explore why deploying nodes all over is important🧵 Node distribution by solana...
Why do we need nodes in multiple locations?

Decentralization + Performance

For a network to be decentralized you can't have the majority of the PoS nodes in one or two locations

For a network to be performatic for the users, the applications nodes (RPC) should be close to them
Deploying validators in multiple regions can protect the network against,

Datacenter concentration (The big majority of Solana nodes are in Hetzner, and they are shutting down crypto)

DDoS (It would be harder to saturate multiple networks links dispersed in multiple locations)

1/ Cold Mail is the most powerful tool to convert your best customers.

If you're in B2B and don't have low ARPU, this strategy might be for you.

People are still prioritizing quantity over quality and approaching the wrong companies with poor messaging

Thread 🧵👇
2/ If you have a product that solves a problem for a specific market, you can implement a highly effective Cold Mail tactic that can transform your business.

I will teach you how to implement this tactic simply and practically, without the BS.
3/ At Maxihost, we do very little marketing. We have a sales team that is highly effective in doing Cold Mail. Our Top customers all came via highly accurate cold mails

You don't need expensive people or tools, and Cold Mail is not about sending 100 emails to see where it sticks
