Months after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, RMT leader Eddie Dempsey urges people to back "the anti-fascist resistance", that is, Putin's militias, against "the far right regime in Kyiv" and NATO.

His ribbon has become a symbol of Putin's aggression, worn by Putin himself. 1/6
The meeting was organised by "Solidarity with the Antifascist Resistance in Ukraine" (SARU), a grouping of some of the nastiest of the UK far left.

This cartoon by the antisemite Latuff, posted on their Facebook account, sums SARU up: the Ukrainian Nazi snake versus Lenin. 2/6
In fact, Dempsey was so keen on SARU that he went to the launch meeting, where he lashed out at the "EU/US/British backed fascist Kiev junta" and called for "the neutralisation of British involvement in NATO military operations in Ukraine". 3/6

Alex Gordon, now the RMT's President, was on board too. Here he is, wearing his own Putinist ribbon, demonstrating with SARU outside the Ukrainian embassy in London, with an RMT banner for a backdrop. 4/6
See Gordon spell it out.

"Unequivocal support for the antifascist resistance in Ukraine."

Don't buy the "lies" of the BBC, Channel 4, and the papers about Ukraine.

What is to be done? "You have to polarise the argument." For Moscow, mind. 5/6
Steve Hedley, a sort of RMT thug's thug, was also enthusiastic. Backing Putin's vile crimes was an important cause for the RMT.

People who adore the RMT now remind me of the old line on real fascists, with a twist. "At least they make the trains not run at all." 6/6

There is perhaps no better guide to the nature of the RMT than its affection for Chris Williamson.

Here RMT leaders Steve Hedley and Alex Gordon, now RMT President, have a grand old time with the crazed racist, their “keynote speaker”.

In fact, he has been an RMT cause. 1/7 Image
Here Hedley shouts for Williamson in July 2019 with “Labour Against the Witch Hunt”.

He dismisses the Labour antisemitism crisis as a plot against Corbyn, calls the Momentum founder Jon Lansman “an absolute scoundrel”, and backs Jackie Walker, recently expelled by Labour. 2/7
No “personal capacity” here, by the way. He’s speaking for the RMT. He adds reselection threats “to clear out the debris of the Blairite Labour party”. 3/7

Apologists for the RMT would have you believe that they are firm opponents of the Kremlin.

Helpfully, "Stop the War" has published the latest RMT take on peace and security. Go after NATO. That's it.

And that's all it has been, for years. 1/8

As war loomed in February, “Stop the War” targeted our government for its “disdain for Russian concerns”. Not Russia, oh no.

Labour MPs were told to withdraw their names from this outrageous statement.

The RMT’s Eddie Dempsey’s is still there. 2/8

The RMT has been on side since 2014, when Putin first ravaged Ukraine. Here they blame NATO in October 2014. 3/8 Image

If you’re reading the news about Ukraine, new to Amnesty disgracing itself, and angry, let me tell you how it works as an observer of the sham human rights outfit since it teamed up with Cage, the British terrorist support group, years ago.

If you object, you won't get far. 1/7
In fact, Agnes Callamard has already resorted to the Amnesty manual. Dismiss legitimate critics making reasoned points as “mobs and trolls”. “War propaganda”, no less.

Then strike a righteous and aggrieved pose. “We are so superior. You can’t touch us.” 2/7
This will carry on for as long as it takes. Amnesty cannot possibly be wrong. About anything. Ever. Its critics are dishonest, malevolent, and determined to hide the bright shining truths uncovered by their betters.Lower the tone as much as you like for this sacred cause. 3/7

Get to know Amna Abdullatif, Assistant Director for Youth Empowerment at the Anne Frank Trust, a bit better.

Here she is thanking Nasima Begum of “death to Zionist scum” infamy for speaking at a Trust event.

So, was there a “vetting” failure, as the Trust claims? 1/12
“Our investigation found that the staff who organised the workshop, partly in their haste to deliver it before the end of the school year, did not carry out appropriate due diligence”, the Trust says.

Oh really? You'll find Abdullatif engaged in friendly banter with Begum… 2/12
…on social media. Indeed, she follows Begum on Twitter.

While here Abdullatif “looks forward” to Begum making social media contributions to another venture.

Let's learn a bit more. 3/12

Last week, the “Palestine Solidarity Campaign” insisted it rejects Holocaust abuse.

No, just no. PSC members and supporters invoke the Nazis against “Zionists” all the time. The Waltham Forest branch is typical, not a fringe outlier.

Here you can see how low they go. 1/11
First, this is the post hich was taken down: an appalling objection to a Holocaust Memorial in Westminster. The comrades fear Israel or Zionism “would benefit from such a prominent site” and memorial backers are promoting it “for Zionist propaganda”.

No surprise, that. 2/11
Here are four posts heaping Nazi abuse on Israel. There are more.

Don’t be fooled by any Jewish fig leaves, by the way. No one fell for “Sikhs for the EDL”, did they.

Indeed, using Jews this way makes it all the more pernicious. 3/11

Amnesty UK and the self-styled Palestine Solidarity Campaign make for a fine pair.

While Garry Ettle, Amnesty’s “Country Coordinator for Israel / Palestine”, is just the man to bring them together in a meeting in Hastings tomorrow.

Start with Holocaust abuse. 1/7
Did you know that Israel is committing a Holocaust? No? Well, now you do.

Israel also “cheapens” the memory of the Holocaust, don’t you know. Terrible two-faced people. Fascists, echoing history. 2/7
So, who does Ettle like? Some of the worst people in Labour’s antisemitism crisis. The racist Asa Winstanley, who was suspended by Labour and left before he could be pushed. Jackie Walker, expelled in 2019, starring in "WitchHunt”. Jew spotter David Miller, a “truth” teller. 3/7
