Well @TroyStolz before you go, I’d like to put things into context. It will take more a single tweet, but not many.

This country is not a landmass but an idea,
This country is not the result of ‘the timid’, nor ‘the weak’, and rarely ‘the wealthy’.

Rather, this country is the essence of its greatest forebears, black, white, brown and yellow.
True greatness is not recognition and tin-pot awards;
On the contrary, they are largely indicia of the phoney, and the puppet.
True greatness is standing tall in the face of attacks.

While we don’t know their names, people like you stood tall, even in the face of death, ever since people inhabited this earth. Some were warriors, some were convicts, some were mothers, some were soldiers. We don’t know their names, but we know their actions.

They inspire us when we ‘get it right’, and haunt us when we don’t. It’s their spirit that lives on, and their smile that gives this country its greatness.
They are by definition un-sung, but, equally by definition, unbroken to the end.

The people that prosecute you are the same people that ran the slave trade for 500 years never admitting it might be wrong. It’s ‘legal’, it’s ‘our right’ ‘our property’ they shouted. They are the same people who sold cigarettes, thalidomide and bombs, while caring only of profit

Life can be cruel, and often is. But there are also some qualities that can’t be destroyed by any calamity: bravery, truth, compassion. They survive in water and fire, and when the heart stops.
They are impervious to popular opinion, be laugh at wealth and status.

While you didn’t seek glory, no one who truly achieves it does, you have achieved it. Not by ‘press release’, or Writ, or award, but by taking a pride in your work, and simply saying ‘no’.
By doing ‘your job’, despite the threats of vicious hypocrites whose ‘profit has suffered’

Failure is not a short life, but a small life. No one cares how long the fish that leaps from a rushing river lives, least of all, itself. It’s the size of the jump that matters.
The sparkle of the sun, and the splash.
You will live every time an Australian does the right thing

They may not know your name, but they know your actions. You are a warrior in the battle that shapes this land. The truth will always prevail over the weak. Smile and know that. The more hysterical your enemy’s screams, the greater your glory.

To be a decent man, and never waiver even in death is a feat your enemies could never even contemplate. It’s beautiful, not failure. The ‘Vikings Valhalla’, and the heaven of those who live by faith. Too many have achieved more by death than life for this not to be true.

As I know you like a joke and a smile, I’ll end with this thought: each time your enemies announce yet another ‘year of record growth’ they come closer to extinction, for its their own greed and hubris that has undone them. The world sees their true colours. Because of you. Hero.
