We as a society have moved so far past anything done in the two Blade Runner films insofar as motifs/themes go. I actually think Cyberpunk 2077 does a VERY GOOD job of bringing the cyberpunk genre out of the 1980s for once.

Edgerunners was written to be character driven, to be street by street a story about the Night City we see in #Cyberpunk2077 and then was handed over to Trigger for their visuals. Actually makes me a lil more optimistic! #NightCityWIRE
