#AppleEvent Let's fly through outer space! Swear to god this lighting is TOO GOOD. I want to interview the DP of these events.
Apple spent more on this Apple Watch testimonial segment than Warner Bros spent on Batgirl #AppleEvent
I want my watch to track my baseline cheese levels, do not wake me until the CheeseAlert is active. #AppleEvent
(I am so glad I do not have to care about tech professionally anymore if I don't want to - it was exhausting and boring drumming up clicks for some of this stuff)
Gore-MET Meh-TAL is the *wildest* way to pronounce Gourmet Metal I have EVER HEARD #AppleEvent
Very disappointed they did not name it Apple Watch XTREME and do a Mountain Dew partnership #AppleEvent
When I was in high school, a girl I was friendly with came to me and asked if I would help her. She was pregnant and didn't know what to do. Her parents were very strict and she said they might kill her if they found out. Her boyfriend dumped her when she told him.
I don't know why she told me this. I don't know why she came to me. I guess she must have felt she could trust me even though we weren't super close. But I told her I would help. No questions asked.
I drove her to the clinic on her appointment day.
She was terrified. She cried in the car a lot on the way there and kept saying variations of, "I want to be a doctor. I can't have a baby. I want to graduate. I need to go to college."
1. CVS and Rite Aid both have lists of places with available appointments - you don't need to finish making an appointment if you're currently ineligible for one - but you CAN see a list of cities here in CA with "Available" or "Fully Booked." Looks like this:
2. CHECK EARLY to see if any nearby cities have Available appointments. YOU ARE NOT MAKIKG AN APPOINTMENT, but you need to know which locations have vaccines. Just put in information and say you're high risk to get to that section, THEN DO NOT CONTINUE. Looks like this:
Guys...I'm losing my mind right now. I'm furious. Have a seat. We need to talk about my neighbors across the street.
THREAD INCOMING.
Everyone except these two have taken the virus seriously - they think it's a hoax, the panic is dumb, and that it's just a weird cold. They have looked down their noses at us like we are kooky conspiracy theorists for wearing masks when we go out.
On Sunday morning, our other neighbors (who are amazing) called to tell us the news. One of the anti-mask neighbors (AMNs for short) had covid. The wife. Did they find out because the AMNs warned them? No.
