The Textus Receptus and Majority Text teach that Jesus is God, and that God was manifest in the flesh. #Jesus#God#Bible
"God was manifest in the flesh..." — 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV #Jesus#God#Bible
"God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit" — 1 Timothy 3:16 NKJV #Jesus#God#Bible
"God was revealed in the flesh..." — 1 Timothy 3:16 MEV (Modern English Version)
"God was manifest in the flesh..." — 1 Timothy 3:16 KJ21
The Critical Text agrees! Jesus is God in all bibles! Don't let cultists deceive you.
"No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known." — John 1:18 NIV
"God was revealed in the flesh" — 1 Timothy 3:16 WEB
The World English Bible is the only Bible that utilizes the Majority Text.
I personally use 21st century Critical Text Bibles. They're much more advanced, pulling from thousands of undiscovered manuscripts unknown to Erasmus and the Textus Receptus. He only had five or six, the majority of which were dated in the twelfth century.
Just because a bible is older, like the KJV or even Geneva, doesn't mean it uses the oldest underlying manuscripts, like modern bibles in fact do! LSB, ESV, NIV, NET, NLT, etc.
In many ways modern works are older sources. With far more sophisticated scholarship.
“99.8% of textual variants affect nothing... The bottom line is it does not matter in some respects which New Testament you use because no essential doctrine is jeopardized by any of these textual variants” — Professor Daniel B. Wallace, Ph.D.
