It is dedicated to Hanuman ji who is also known by the name of Balaji.
This is the only Balaji mandir that houses Balaji's beard & mustache.
It was constructed over a period of about 2 years using bricks, stones, cement, lime mortar & white marble.
While white marble is used extensively throughout, the entire circulatory path, the Sabha Mandap & the Sanctum Sanctorum are covered with artistic works of gold & silver.
The vestibule, doors & the utensils used in worshipping are made of silver. The main gate is made up of carving works of white marble.
The shrine & the sanctum sanctorum are decorated with floral patterns & other kinds of mosaic works done in gold & silver. #Thread
