- Initially, President Zelensky desired to launch the broad attack across the south, to recapture Kherson and cut off Mariupol from the Russian force in the east.

Last night, intense clashes broke out between the Azerbaijani and Armenian forces at several points of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. Yerevan accused Baku of shelling Armenian positions and initiating offensive actions.

Azerbaijani Defence Ministry claimed that the Armed Forces of Armenia carried out a "large-scale provocation" on the border and confirmed that Azeri forces targeted Armenian positions last night.

Armenian PM Pashinyan held phone call with US Secretary of State Blinken, during which he briefied him on "details of Azerbaijan's aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia."

Clouds of smoke seen rising in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge in Russia-occupied part of Kherson Oblast of Ukraine.

The moment of one of the impacts and explosions heard in the vicinity of the Antonovsky Bridge.

It appears that Russian air defenses were active over the area, as characteristic puffs of smoke can be seen in the sky.
