The big takeaway for American Moms and their starving babes is NOT Bill Gates' "plant-based" formula...

MOMS are a baby's top food source.

Yes, working moms have different challenges from our pioneer foremothers but it's easier now than ever to nurse as a modern woman.
Whether you can afford those $500 hidden pumping devices or you use a $5 hand pump.

The idea that 'nursing is hard' is a narrative pushed by $1200 a month lactation consultants and a lucrative baby formula industry.
The good news: More moms in America are nursing their babies than they have in recent past.

I work full time and nurse exclusively my 10.5 month old. Moms need to be encouraged this IS possible.

Re-lactation is also possible for those who think it's too late.
