One of the funniest people I've ever known, my friend Brian Reich, passed away Monday. He did incredible work for Triumph, @SachaBaronCohen,Chris Elliott (Eagleheart) & esp @ConanOBrien's Late Night show.Brian talked about his most famous creations here -RS teamcoco.com/podcasts/insid…
@SachaBaronCohen@ConanOBrien Brian would laugh at the idea of an obituary highlighting The Masturbating Bear, but the truth is, any of us would've been proud to have come up with something that perfectly simple and ridiculous, not to mention its shocking staying power.
In 1996 Pimpbot 5000 was the show's first real breakout character. 70s pimps were a comedy staple back then but Brian somehow found a fresh take and America* was Pimpbot 5000-crazy.
* wasted college kids in the 90s
I don't know a writer who knew him who wasn't in awe of Brian's talent. He wrote plenty of great one shot bits. @TeamCoco please find it in your heart to put "Celebrities in a Box" featuring the late Nipsey Russell and the later Sy Sperling, online.
Brian was not only an amazing writer for Triumph, he was pretty much the first to write the earliest bits with me, before we started doing lots of them and more people threw in jokes. #worms@TomArnold
Okay I did find this fantastic classic of Brian's and I'm not gonna say any more than that. Just watch it.
Please, @TeamCoco, put the "Curse of Cocoon" up on the web, too. Meanwhile, here's something Brian wrote last year to coincide with @TheEllenShow wrapping up. It helps to know that Ellen loves flipping houses and is allegedly horrible. #LetsBeReal
I would love for people who knew Brian to post their favorite sketches of his, or anything else related to him...meanwhile, since this is a Triumph account, some of you may enjoy this...Brian wrote all the lyrics for this Triumph and @jackblack screed

I heard about Richard's passing a while back and was too sad to discuss it. But he loved the Village Halloween Parade (he pronounced it pa-rahd) so I think he'd like my sharing this today. We met on camera, just like @ConanOBrien & Liza. Triumph was definitely drawn to Blackwolf.
When Triumph did a live recording of his album "Come Poop With Me", we tracked down Blackwolf from a waiver he'd signed at the Star Wars line. We wrote a song especially for him. He stole the show from Conan, Jack Black, Sandler & everyone else that night.
1979. With The Great Goulet, Merv Griffin, and the Chuck Wagon Dog, ruling the Tournament of Roses Parade. We'd always wrap on Villa St for the afterparty and a 5-way with Joan Van Ark. #FlashbackFriday
#FlashbackFriday 1981. Here's the whole crew, The Great Goulet, Merv Griffin, the Chuck Wagon Dog and me on the links with Pam Ewing herself, the lovely Victoria Principal. It was a different time. #WhatHappenedToFun#consensual#innocent
#ThrowbackThursday 1974. Whenever he'd guest on Merv's show, Goulet liked to celebrate by dangling Phyllis Diller from a window ledge. That's my paw on her calf, with Merv and the Chuck Wagon Dog cheering her on. One talented lady. #WhatHappenedToFun
