1/ THREAD: Body Language and Behavior Analysis No. 4664: Ted Cruz with Parents of child murdered during Uvalde School Shooting
#BodyLanguage #BehaviorAnalysis #LexiRubio #EmotionalIntelligence #TedCruz #Uvalde #GunControl
2/ In the above picture, Kimberly and Felix Rubio are pictured with Senator Ted Cruz (R, TX).
3/ Kimberly and Felix Rubio are the parents of Lexi, who was murdered along with 18 other students and two teachers at Robb Elementary School on 25 May 2022 in Uvalde, Texas. There were also 18 others wounded.
4/ Along with the photo above, Lexi's mom, Kimberly Mata-Rubio (@kimrubio21) recently tweeted the following:
5/ "Felix shared our last photo of Lexi - in her child-size casket - as we asked @tedcruz to protect his constituents by supporting a federal ban on assault weapons. He declined. Instead, he said he supports increasing law enforcement presence on school campuses."
7/ What follows is a body language and behavioral analysis of Senator Ted Cruz in this image.
8/ Note Ted Cruz's contracted and elevated central forehead (not across the entire width of his forehead, but just the center (medial) portion. Cruz is displaying this along with a simultaneous mouth (lip) feigned-pout.
9/ This facial expression completely lacks context and empathy — and, more specifically, it projects false empathy and feigned consideration.
10/ Note Ted Cruz is body-pointing away from Lexi's parents. Except for his head, Cruz's entire body is pointing/rotated away from them (although we can't see Cruz's entire right lower extremity, we can infer the position of his foot).
11/ We don't look directly at — rather we have to rotate our head and/or our eyes toward someone we don't like, don't respect, don't trust, or don't believe.
12/ We also rotate our body away from people with whom we're trying to emotionally distance ourselves — or when we're trying to extricate ourselves from the situation/conversation.
13/ Not only is Cruz angled away from the grieving parents from Uvalde — he's leaning back in his chair. His buttocks are not touching the back of the chair, but his upper back is — he's slouching while he should be engaged and leaning forward.
14/ Moreover, Cruz's legs are crossed in what is known as the 'figure-four' (or the 'American figure-four').
15/ In this context in particular, figure-four leg crossing screams aloofness, arrogance, disengagement, and emotional distancing.
16/ There are various other ways one can sit without having both feet flat on the floor (i.e., the European leg-cross, one foot flat with the other foot turned on its side, sitting forward with toes touching, rocking feet/tapping feet in constant motion), etc.
17/ None of these feet/leg positions convey sincere mourning, grieving , empathy, or sympathy.
18/ In this context, Cruz's left hand on his left knee is an additional distancing factor (i.e., if instead his left hand were on his left ankle [even with his legs crossed]) ...
19/ ... and his torso rotated toward the Rubio's, this would have facilitated a more engaged and receptive posture (although still considerably less than optimal).
20/ Optimally, Cruz should be sitting forward on his chair (buttocks away from the back of the chair with an additional forward leaning with his torso).
21/ Cruz should have both feet flat on the floor — with his feet relatively close together (and never manspreading).
22/ The Senator should absolutely be full-body pointing toward the grieving parents.
23/ Moreover, in some situations (i.e., if you were family, friends, etc.), depending on the layout of the room, etc., it would have been proper contextually and proportionally, to sit on the same couch.
24/ Said another way, sitting further away — and on another couch/chair, is a further act of physical distancing and thus emotional distancing too.
25/ Additionally, if he truly felt sorrow (And why on Earth wouldn't he? [see below]), then he should have a facial expression indicative of sincere sadness-grieving-anguish.
26/ SUMMARY: Ted Cruz's response to Kimberly and Felix Rubio — the parents of Lexi (murdered in the Uvalde massacre) conveys no empathy, sorrow, grieving or sadness.

continued...
27/ On the contrary, Cruz is projecting aloofness, emotional distancing, feigning empathy, and false consideration. Said another way, Cruz is pretending to care while emotionally and physically distancing himself from the grieving parents of a murdered child.

continued...
28/ Upon analyzing Ted Cruz many times before, and taken in toto w/ the behavior exhibited by the Senator here, this is entirely consistent w/ those evaluations — Ted Cruz is a Dark Tetrad (Sociopathic-Pyschopathic [APD], a Narcissist [NPD], Machiavellian, and a Sadist [SPD]).

1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4665: Queen Elizabeth II, Donald Trump, Prince Charles, and Two Dominant Fingers — #EmotionalIntelligence #BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #QueenElizabeth #DonaldTrump #PrinceCharles #MiddleFinger #Behaviorist
2/ In 2019, whilst meeting with other NATO Country leaders in London, Donald Trump and Melania met Queen Elizabeth, Then-Prince Charles, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. What follows is a partial nonverbal and behavioral analysis of crucial portions of this interaction.
3/ In this first image, as Donald Trump walks around a corner, he holds his mouth open for an extended time in a moment of feigned surprise-happiness. For many this is an extremely common and insincere expression given upon greeting. Image

2/ Yesterday, Marjorie Taylor Greene kicked Marianna Pecora, an activist and digital director for @voterstomorrow. She also, with high probability pushed her. What follows is a partial Body Language Analysis, first of the video included above, as well an additional video.
3/ Note that Taylor Green looks down in the direction at/around Ms. Pecora's feet for ~2.5 seconds prior to the event (beginning just after 0:41 second mark in the above video). Before that, she had been looking straight ahead.

2/ Two (of many) things you never want to see your attorney do in court is shrug their shoulders or talk with their hands in their pockets. Alex Jones attorney, Norm Pattis, did both — simultaneously.
3/ In the video above, Mr. Pattis displayed an extended shrug (Turtling) whilst he superimposed several additional higher shrugs as he was talking with his hands in his pockets.
