With classes now underway, it's time to explain why public schools have lost so many students – and why so many students took gap years rather than be "taught" online… (1/x)

The reason is simple: Parents who actually observed their kids’ classes for the first time were shocked to find what their children were (not) learning and said "ENOUGH!"

CBS calls it the “Capitol Assault Hearings.”

NBC calls it “the January 6th hearings.”

ABC calls it the “Attack on the Capitol.”

These banners at the bottom of the screen make a difference in how people perceive the information. #January6th

It took 9 minutes for the hearing to show something other than a politician delivering a teleprompter speech.

That’s too long.

I have 10 students watching with me… And they aren’t watching anymore. They’re more interested in talking to each other than watching the screen.

“It’s too long,” said one of my students.

After 15 minutes, it’s just one politician speaking into the camera.

Literally no one is watching – the TV is on, but no one is watching.

Do you think our murder rate would remain the same without widespread, easy access to firearms?

For instance: Would a mass-stabbing have the same mortality rate as a mass-shooting? Sure, there are substitutes for guns – but they drastically decrease the success rate of murders.

I conducted a nationwide research study of Ukrainians with @PremiseData just days before the Russian invasion.

The results (like the invasion that has followed) are staggering.

The Russians now control Chernobyl.

These are my photographs from 3 years ago. This is what they did to that city.

The city is a true ghost town.

The people who lived there back then are all dead, poisoned by nuclear contamination.

The Russians told the world that there was no issue… They lied then, and they are lying now.

This was once a vibrant city.

Now look at it.
How can we ignore their cries for help?

Every CEO you see now talks about being “inclusive” and treating their employees better – but people don’t believe most of them.

However, my focus group co-hosted with ConversateLab.com felt that @GM CEO Mary Barra (@mtbarra) was genuine.

🗣 “What advise would you give CEOs to keep employees from quitting?”

ConversateLab.com got to the biggest point of all during our focus group with Americans who changed jobs over the pandemic.

“Putting one of my kids to bed one night, which is something I didn’t get to do when I was coming home late from traveling.”

My focus group with ConversateLab.com describes the “Aha!” moment when they decided to quit their job during the pandemic.
