1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4665: Queen Elizabeth II, Donald Trump, Prince Charles, and Two Dominant Fingers — — #EmotionalIntelligence #BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #QueenElizabeth #DonaldTrump #PrinceCharles #MiddleFinger #Behaviorist

2/ In 2019, whilst meeting with other NATO Country leaders in London, Donald Trump and Melania met Queen Elizabeth, Then-Prince Charles, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. What follows is a partial nonverbal and behavioral analysis of crucial portions of this interaction.

3/ In this first image, as Donald Trump walks around a corner, he holds his mouth open for an extended time in a moment of feigned surprise-happiness. For many this is an extremely common and insincere expression given upon greeting.

4/ You may note that Melania Trump looked down at the President's feet. Why is she looking at her husband's feet at such a crucial moment?

5/ Trump's gait had changed several months prior to this event. One of the characteristics is that he swings his right leg, somewhat stiffly, foot out laterally (to the side) and around to the front, in a semicircle configuration.

6/ Trump's semicircle leg swing (circumduction) is variable and not dramatic — and it's minimal during this particular moment of the video (less noticeable because he's turning a corner which favors such a movement).

7/ This resembles a (mild) Hemiplegic Gait — and here, with Trump, it's highly likely caused by a cerebral vascular accident (Stroke).

8/ In this next image, The Queen initiated a handshake — extending her right hand (circled in red).

9/ Donald Trump then reaches forward to shake her hand. Initially, the angle between her upper and lower arm was 135º ...

10/ .... but as Trump moved closer — he elevated the Queen's hand and arm — this angle changed to 95º.

11/ When a man encroaches too closely during handshakes with other men — and/or pulls the other man's hand-arm closer (beyond the midpoint), (and often but not always upward), it's a dominance display, a sign of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and Impulse Control Disorder.

12/ But when a man shakes a woman's hand in this same manner — it's not only a sign of Dominance, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and Impulse Control Disorder — but also Misogyny and indicates an increased likelihood of Physical Abuse.

13/ There's then an edit/omission in the video, but just afterwards, Trump then gestures toward the Queen with his right hand with a palm-up gesture.

14/ We cannot hear what's being said in this moment, however, over thousands of analyses, Trump has shown a strong correlation of making false assertions and/or false praise when using this, palms-up nonverbal dynamic.

15/ As Trump spoke and displayed the palms-up gesture, then-Prince Charles took a step backwards (Did you also notice Camilla's widely extended hands and fingers?)

16/ Trump then makes a palm-down, fingers-splayed gesture. Although splaying the fingers apart tends to lessen the amplitude, Palm-down gestures are dominant and depending on the context and other simultaneous nonverbals, even hyper-dominant.

17/ As Trump displayed his palm-down gesture, then-Prince Charles stepped back in line with the Queen.

18/  Palm-down gestures are rapport destroying — not rapport building. Intriguingly, people also have less recall when palm-down gestures are directed toward them. This was not wise or contextual body language with the Queen.

19/ We don't know what was said in this moment, but Prince Charles not only didn't believe Donald Trump, but The Prince took offense to it as well.

20/ A second later Donald Trump does something unbelievable - He points at Queen Elizabeth. This may be one of the only moments (perhaps THEE only moment) where a person, in The Queen's company, points at her with their index finger (forefinger).

21/ Index finger pointing is universally offensive. Don't do it. Never. It elicits negative feelings across every culture in the World. You will find few faux pas worse than a forefinger point (but wait, ... one moment, 'tis forthcoming).

22/ A split-second later, Prince Charles, looks down, closes his eyes, and, with his left middle finger, rubs his eye twice.

23/ This is an example of one of many different subtypes of nonverbal behaviors known as Partial Emblematic Slips. It's called 'Partial' because it's a gesture which is not being held in its typical, very deliberate and obvious, hand-and-finger on full display.

24/ Notice the Prince's psyche camouflages this maneuver by maintaining his forefinger (index finger) partially extended.

25/ It's termed as 'Emblematic' because its a highly specific gesture (illustrator), with its meaning recognized world-wide as: "Fuck You! or "Fuck off!" (although there are many other emblems that are regional or local, this one is known throughout the planet).

26/ The nomenclature includes the 'Slip' descriptor because it's almost always a subconsciously or edge-of-consciousness generated nonverbal act (although sometimes it is fully conscious).

27/ It 'leaks', therefore it's transmitting a person's true emotions despite the words being spoken.

28/ The fact that Prince Charles rubbed his eye while flipping off Donald Trump (while Trump was speaking), carries the additional meaning, that, with very high likelihood, the Prince believed the President to be lying.

29/ Prince Charles then immediately places his hand in his left suit pocket. This is the psyche's attempt to hide the profanity previously projected.

30/ Trump then, once again, points at the Queen with his right index finger. This time, more blatantly — and for longer duration.

31/ As Melania shakes Camilla's hand, Prince Charles takes his hand out of his pocket in order to clasp it behind his back. This is a high-confidence configuration that is particularly common amongst royals.

32/  SUMMARY:  Donald Trump has a gait abnormality — this was several months old at the time and appears to be a (mild) Hemiplegic Gait on his right. The most likely cause is a cerebral vascular accident (stroke).

33/ Summary (continued): Donald Trump uses dominant hand gestures when speaking with Queen — including palm-down gestures and, unbelievably, twice used the hyper-dominant and universally offensive, index finger point.

34/ Summary (continued): Then-Prince Charles believed that Donald Trump lied to him and/or the Queen. The Prince also, via a partial emblematic slip (and most likely subconsciously), gave the President the Middle Finger.
