Good morning to everyone except the treasonous seditionists, coup-plotters, domestic terrorists, and fascists.
Did you know that Missouri AG @Eric_Schmitt’s loyalty to Trump means he supports 5 out of 5 of these things??
That’s not propaganda— here are the receipts:
🧵 /1
@AGEricSchmitt has pledged total loyalty to Trump and the #MAGA agenda, and has even intervened in his legal defense to show his unwavering support of Trump to the judges overseeing the prosecutions of his cases.
And Trump is guilty of all 5 offenses.
Let’s take a look /2
TREASON: Donald Trump attempted to overthrow the government, and gave aid and comfort to domestic enemies who participated on #Jan6.
Before, during, and after Jan 6, Trump conspired to coordinate with the insurrectionists and planners. /3
Before the event, Donald Trump worked through Roger Stone and the Willard Hotel War Room to coordinate plans for that day, including plans for Trump to make a speech at the Capitol inviting the mob to invade. /4
He openly incited people to violence using heavily programmed messaging in a coordinated drumbeat of propaganda from himself and supporters like Lauren “Today is 1776” Boebert and crew. /5
Remember that incitement to imminent lawless action is not protected speech under the first amendment.
So after a year of propagandizing his followers into believing desperate action would be needed, he pulls the trigger JUST when things are “imminent.” /7
During the Jan 6 event, Trump went went to the Ellipse to deliver a rally-style speech in a final big act of incitement to imminent lawless action.
We know that BEFORE the speech, he was told that many in the crowd were armed. /8
After the events of Jan 6, Trump and the entire Republican Party have openly provided aid and comfort to the insurrectionists— everything from paying for their legal defenses to @SenRonJohnson rewarding them w/ honor flags to visiting them in prison. /11
And, we shall soon know, it is highly plausible that Trump sold or shared the most sensitive government secrets from his stash of stolen classified documents — possibly to Vladimir Putin, but maybe just to some random spy who got cozy at Mar-a-Lago /12
Not only is it blatant hypocrisy, it’s the literal selling out of America in a desperate bid to ensure his team of traitors goes unpunished, and voters don’t expel him the entire @GOP from American government. /15
Next? The above description of Trump’s actions surrounding his incitement of the insurrection on Jan 6 clearly meet the definition of SEDITION.
In fact, some of the defendants most involved are specifically being charged with seditious conspiracy. /16
The events of Jan 6, 2021 were an attempted COUP against the U.S. Government.
It was sudden and violent, and the goal was for rogue Senators and VP @Mike_Pence to seize power by falsifying slates of electors and stealing the vote of the people. /17
As for suppressing criticism and controlling industry, well… @AGEricSchmitt is actively trying to impose big government control of social media and tech giants so he can censor speech calling out treasonous Republicans he doesn’t want you to see. /22
@Eric_Schmitt and the @GOP claim that big tech is censoring Republicans, but really they’re enforcing their Terms of Service and censoring lawless planning and promotion of TREASON, SEDITION, COUPS, DOMESTIC TERRORISM, and FASCIST THREATS.
Are you starting to get it yet? /23
@Eric_Schmitt is supports lawlessness and the wholesale destruction of democracy.
Republicans are using the 2nd amendment to hold America hostage as a means to achieve desired cultural/policy ends
They’ve rolled all issues into one and decided anyone who doesn’t agree is *more* than a political opponent— they’re a Satanic enemy who must be vanquished
1/4
On every issue from education to equality to emergency response, I’ve witnessed a trend for years— from the media to friends & family— where conservative dialogue regularly circles back to an anti-govt fanaticism and often ends with a violent ultimatum
#ComeAndTakeIt
2/4
And what’s worse, we can see some of the most radical among them are starting to move from implied threats to overt acts of domestic terrorism
How many MAGA nuts with racist manifestos & swastikas on their AR-15s have to commit mass murder before we admit what’s happening?

Frank Luntz is the personal architect of modern Republican propaganda.
He was the political linguist who advised party elites in the 90s to “be like Newt” and ditch truth-telling for baseless propaganda.
The GOP couldn’t get onboard fast enough. /1
He taught the party to reduce complex ideas into cliche phrases meant to oversimplify, eliminate key context, and— most importantly— manipulate voters’ emotions.
And we can trace a direct line from those buzzwords above to the violent propaganda & political terrorism of 2023. /2
But now NYT wants me to read his analysis of people who were essentially red-pilled by Frank himself— while he equates their propaganda-induced anger with the anger of those fighting Trump and the GOP’s attempted fascist takeover of America?
Contrast that with the blustering, angry vigilantism of Donald Trump and his followers— the literal, open calls to violence— from telling police to rough up protestors during his 2016 campaign to inciting an armed mob to smash the windows of Congress on Jan 6, 2021. /3
Little known issue on the Missouri ballot has a real fascist ring to it.
Am 5 moves Nat’l Guard directly under governor & changes mission from responding to domestic emergencies “to protecting constitutional rights and civil liberties” of Missourians.
Why is that troubling? /1
A few reasons.
Missouri recently passed legislation to nullify federal gun laws. The Guard could be deployed to resist the FBI or federal law enforcement in the name of protecting citizens second amendment rights. /2
That’s not all. Republicans want a personhood bill for fetuses. The Guars could be deployed in scary ass ways to protect the life of a fetus— arresting women for risky behavior, miscarriages, and more. /3
Are you on the fence in this election? Do you have friends and family who are still undecided?
Let me offer a persuasive argument.
I’m rejecting Republicans up and down the ticket. Why?
It’s the lies and the fear-mongering for me.
🧵1/
The lies and fear mongering on abortion. Crime. Guns. Jan 6. Elections. Gas prices. Inflation. Tax Policy. Immigration. Public health. Public education.
When I take a step back, I see that the entire Republican platform is built on propaganda and lies. /2
On abortion, the lie is as pervasive as ever. Republicans claim Democrats want to allow healthy babies to be aborted on their due date. Or even AFTER birth.
It’s clear emotional manipulation with zero basis in fact. /3
