According to a new book by Politico’s R. Bade, Mitch McConnel was seriously considering voting to convict Trump in the impeachment trial. However, after watching the amount of support Trump still had from GOP senators, he changed his mind. What a coward! He told Liz Cheney:
"We just disagree on the tactics." Let’s just ignore him”

His vote will go down in history as one of the most consequential votes in recent history. Because of Mitch's cowardice, not only did Trump not fade away, he's just emboldened Trump & his total grip on the GOP. For shame!

Look at the results from last night's Republican primaries in NH:
#NHSEN- MAGA Republican won
#NH02- MAGA Republican won
#NH01- MAGA Republican won
All 3 of them are far-right election deniers.

For the sake of our democracy, this anti-democracy cult must be defeated in Nov.
Don't forget, the Republican establishment invested heavily against this candidate, but they won anyway. In fact, Trump didn't even endorse anyone in the senate race, but the MAGA candidate won anyway. This isn't just a fringe. This is what the Republican base has become.
Liz Cheney said: "The reality that we face today as Republicans...we have to choose, because Republicans cannot both be loyal to Trump and loyal to the Constitution."

At the end of the primaries season, what Republicans have chosen is clear. They must lose the election in Nov.

A group of conservatives and Republicans issue a report debunking each and every claim made by Donald Trump about the 2020 election. The report is signed by 3 retired federal judges, a former Solicitor General, former GOP Senators John Danforth and Gordon H. Smith, and many more.
In summary, they wrote: "There is absolutely no evidence of fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election on the magnitude necessary to shift the result in any state, let alone the nation as a whole. In fact, there was no fraud that changed the outcome in even a single precinct"
