I kinda wanna make a threadfic of one of bkdk getting hit by a quirk that gives them some animal features….

like if it’s katsuki, it’s maybe pre-relationship, probably a dog (or wolf… heaves) and he can’t hide how his tail wags like crazy every time deku’s around 🤭🤭 like imagine. deku’s talking to him + he’s frowning and gruff n normal and you hear thumping. (his tail’s going nuts)

if it’s izuku, he’s a jumpy bunny or kitten, and keeps purring and cuddling into katsuki 🥺 kats is sitting on the couch and he crawls into his lap without thinking about it, curls up and goes to sleep. katsuki is frozen in gay panic. especially bc deku is purring

izuku thought dating kacchan would be, essentially, a minor step up from how they were already: each other’s closest person, best friends. maybe more handholding and displays of affection.

he did not foresee all the little things that came with it, which crept up on him and burrowed themselves into the crevices in his heart, so much so that on weeks kacchan had away missions, he felt their absence like missing a step on the stairs.

kacchan had an away mission now, his second since they started dating, and he was quite busy doing classified hero work in seoul. so izuku had a lot of time to be painfully reminded of all the ways kacchan had accidentally bolstered what he was used to in his daily life.

#bkdk while izuku is growing to be more comfortable in himself, he starts using a brown eyeliner pencil to turn one of his freckles into a heart for fun; he picks a different one to do every day. katsuki is extremely invested in finding where it is every morning without fail

pre r/s: katsuki is obsessed with how deku has started turning a different one of his freckles into a heart every day. he sneakily analyses his face from across the common room and in class, not giving up until he finds it. once he does he settles down, extremely smug.

in a r/s: when deku is done with the bathroom mirror, he comes back to the room they woke up in, and katsuki grabs his face and peers closely, face adorably intense. deku giggles as katsuki inspects each freckle until he finds the heart one and gives it a soft close mouthed-kiss.

katsuki being *just* that much taller than izuku that izuku can’t reach to kiss him without kats bending his head down. so when he’s teasing him, he loves to tilt his chin up and out of reach, delighting in how his boyfriend whines from up on his tiptoes, stretching and failing.

(he especially loves this bc izuku pouts and leans on him in protest, arms around his shoulders and still stretched up on his toes. + if he’s feeling particularly feisty, izuku will go for what he can reach instead, and peppers the underside of his jaw with kisses.)

(either way, katsuki sees this as a win.)

Katsuki liked to think he’s fairly emotionally intelligent. Sure, he’s quick to temper, but he has a decent grasp on how the people around him are feeling; he likes to be be prepared for every scenario, and that includes emotional ones.

Which is why, when Kaminari screeches behind him in the locker room before after-school training on day, he is caught off-guard. Not at the scream — Kaminari made all sorts of noises, all day long — but at the raw shock and tentative horror on his face.

“What is /that/?” he cries, pointing a damning finger at Katsuki’s back. Katsuki contorted his torso, ignoring the sharp twinge as his scratches were aggravated at the movement, trying to look down at what he was gesturing at.
